typo... a rns not a end!!
I must admit I thought there would have been a end reporting gold being poured, however if you look at the last update they said that the would leave it for a month so as to get accurate data for reporting. Imo this would suggest that the system was already working. I guess we should expect full news around end of second week of August! At that point reasonably accurate yields should be available.
well it looks like gold will be being poured in about a week and hope for some market response! we haven't heard anything from Uruguay for a while! it is about time we heard in order to keep some prospective on pgd. other testings also due. time for a overall update? keep the info flow going with hopefully improving news! GLA
to be sure, the chances of a divi after 18 months is in the same league as flying pink elephants:-)
well mads 3million a month is not a bad start. perhaps a divi in 18 months !!:-):-) lol.
well boys and girls, next week is July and the promise of gold about to flow again. if it does come to fruition and pgd produces 68000 ozs, plus any other good news, what affect on the sp? already factored in or a rise potential. digits crossed in anticipation:-)
Well the three of us (lol) and all others may consider the price of silver as an important variable in the value of the company, especially as Ag to Au ratio is about 30 to 1. Why silver......I suggest listening to Jason Burack from about 11 minutes on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnRhcsWLCGk . He suggests Ag upto $25-30 in 2 to 3 years. Of course all these experts who spout on about shares, gold, silver etc should be incredibly incredibly rich if they were correct all of the time!
Morning all...or one or two! really nothing will happen here until the beginning of July when gold will start coming in from Cap Oeste if all goes well. If the gold flows then I can see some logic in the system. CO gold revenues to bring Calcatreu on line (if it passes due diligence) and other sites to start producing for CO gold room. In the background Uruguay and you never know Chubud? So plenty of buts and more initial patience, but perhaps there are signs of better times ahead. All depends on the new plant doing the biz!!
Morning all, AGM report interesting in that there appears to be going to be a burst of activity in H2 at several of deposit sites. Drilling, IP and gold production all due to at least start in May/June. I do wish they would release results to date regarding IP surveys. Also it is reported Rio Negro is a mining friendly province! Interesting, however a very nice example of Calcatreu ore is shown. This seems a better bet than Uruguay imo, but will need paying for (from Cap Oeste??)! If the projected 68,000ozs Au from Cap Oeste does actually materialise (plus residual from Lamada) then this may all slot together. Well we live in hope to see, GLA have a good B/H
Good mail WM but Calcatreu is just an option which may or may Not be taken. Local opposition is a problem but latest government changes may or may Not make it easy to progress, time will tell. Personally I would have thought jobs were paramount. But perhaps they are happy with passing tourist trade. Who can tell??
After more reading and checking, I assume that cap oeste stays with pgd and thus the gold room stays with pgd. So we will still be producing once the recirculator enters the system! Remember that the potential extra 19 months of production was supposed to be sourced from underground at cose. Hence we need a viable source of ore in about 3 years. Calcatreu seems ok but is in maintenance mode only, so needs kickstarting and working up. Overall seems like a good deal imo
Well that was a surprise.....many questions though....what will happen to the gold room, are we back to being an explorer, what happens to the original leach pit as it is still producing and the new possible option looks a better bet? Well lets hope people like it and the sp can start a journey north, GLA
Madsk, but now they could accumulate upto 20% without having to declare anything, is that correct?
ok thanks...makes more sense....but the are accumulating!
Details on iii at the moment!

Morning all.....Quilvest didn't see that one coming, why haven't LSE logged it. 84 million shares, not sure I understand but I would expect the sp to respond
Good mornng all, sometime ago I stated I was out of PGD, unfortunately I have not found the trading conditions conducive to my escape so I am still invested here! So I have been over some old reports trying to answer Highs last question. Certainly in 2012/3 everything seemed rosey with seemingly many holes being drilled and ip surveys completed (I cant remember ever seeing a model of CO/COSE ever being produced!!) and there appeared to be many interesting areas in the CO/COSE corridor. Included in these areas was at least 1 down dip so the COSE(?) ore body was open at depth, however I can find no report of how that dip has been followed up. To summarise there seemed a lot of potential, but I cannot find if these potentials have been included in the 3 year mine plan. In fact there is no modeled data for us to get our snouts into. Secondly the other sites still have(had) great potential but little seems to have been done with them......What are the logistics of trucking ore from other sites to the Cap Oest facility, or setting up satellite heaps? Poor information flow is still limiting this company in spite of their stated aim to improve this aspect of the company! As for sp, I guess the chairman and his co-investors must be sitting on a big loss at the moment, so I should think they will want to see something north of 5p once the gold starts pouring. All imho of course!
No mining news from government yet! Maybe some time given the usual speed of government workings, even though the new mining structure might be fast tracked. Other things perhaps more relevant at the moment eg POG, Uruguay and re circulation! News is well overdue!! I'm just planning how to get out!!
In the article the gov official states they are up against the clock, so I guess that means a result reasonably quickly for a government!!! As for the level, could be some time depending on how much hostility is worked up by the green lobby. May also be a problem with the glacier provences, which of course may dilute the environmental objections. Also I seem to remember that Brancote were very good at cooling environment issues plus we have the influence of the chairman, All IMHO of cause
