It is obvious to me that the majority of people here haven't worked in pharma and don't know what the ABPI code of practice is. When a company releases a press statement or conference about an UNLICENSED medication, it is purely NON-PROMOTIONAL. They cannot raise unfounded hope, promote the drug in ANY WAY or induce prescribing in ANY WAY. They cannot promote to the public, make any claims they cannot substantiate with data (there was no statistical significance in this trial) and would risk several clause breaches and fines.

Therefore, you CANNOT expect them to have a jovial, uber promotional presentation about an unlicensed drug, especially after a trial which showed no statistical or clinical significance.

In regards to the data, I personally feel the drop is undue, the results are in line with what is to be expected in the setting, coupled with the fact a lot of patients had mild disease I think it is acceptable. This trial has done one main thing and that is highlight which setting the drug should be used in and has reaffirmed the companies trial design and inclusion critera for PIII. I have absolutely ZERO doubt in my mind that PIII will be super positive. I will be adding on all dips and this has now become a conviction play for me. I expect PIII Sept-Nov.

Im going to say it again as I see some people are still quite restless on here and twitter. This is EXACTLY how the sp moved last year. Absolutely NOTHING had changed fundamentally then, nor has it now except the SP is higher than what it was and we have II's invested at a SP 15% high than where it currently sits which bodes extremely well.

Just forget about these and wait. And I am not saying this because im ramping this, it makes no difference to me, if it goes down, I keep adding. Im saying this because im not a di*k like others on these BBs.

and one more thing to add, being late in reading out results doesn't mean the results will be negative. If anything, a negative readout is more likely to be read out first, especially if it affects other trials.

Doc, thats not how trials and trial readouts work. They have an ethical obligation to present the data, ESPECIALLY as its related to the pandemic and if negative, would immediately affect the ACTIV2 trial.

The board is not too dissimilar to the board back last year. The SP was hovering around the 60s and then gradually dipped into the 40s and then the 30s. Many people jumped ship, lost patience and lost belief whilst within the company, nothing had changed. All those people then missed the jump from 35p to 230p in one trading day (albeit the sp ended in the 190s I think?). This isn't a ramp, its just a reminder. I was there last time and sold out from 40p to 100p (far too early as it opened at 100p). We know that the home trial will be read out imminently, and the fact that it was even included in the ACTIV2 trial indicates to me a high chance of significant results, just like when SNG announced that they would open this arm initially, I deduced that there would be a high chance the PII hospitalised results will be good.

However, none of this changes the fact that I still do expect to see results from H2 separate to that of Activ2

If I am totally honest I don't, however and I am purely talking about the hospitalsied setting here. I do not know the statistic details of the Activ2 trial so can't comment there. If we were to get an EMA license based on PII, this would have happened a long time ago, not requiring the PIII for that setting. I have seen a few PII's being given a license where the following PIII is not required, RWE is more useful after this rather than a trial setting. Totally and utterly my opinion though....

Highly doubt it, two different patient settings. EMA approval will be based on the pivotal PIII study and nothing else.

After 14 months of being in this share, the time has come for me to say goodbye and to deploy my liquidity elsewhere. Started off at 19p and then sold in the 60s and bought back a few months later in the 60s again only to hold until now and see it go past £1 (hindsight is a btch). However, given ABDX's RNS, in the short term, I don't see ODX going very far. A lot of eggs were laid in the basket of the antibody test, I am fully aware of the Mologic test and potentially avacta's, but the there has been such little talk of the mologic test at the moment and no confirmation that odx is manufautring the avct test, hence, I expect our own trading update to be similar to ABDX.

For that reason, I am out (for now). Will ofc monitor this.
