Torino, I don’t think it makes sense that they’d do the entire acquisition in shares with an intention of just selling them right away. Why would they expose themselves to the potential risk of price fluctuation and not just demand cash if this was the case? I think if a company agrees to a sell in return for only shares, they are showing extreme confidence in the future performance of that company.

Not sure where this Rob has crawled out from but clearly not up to speed on CTAI. Spreading FUD on lack of cash and placing - there’s literally an RNS from a few days ago about non-dilutive funding. There were also warrants at a premium to the current share price 0.3. There have been no placing of recent. The business is an investment vehicle and is tied up with Klarian, a data analytics/AI company working mostly in O&G, who have subsequently raised a lot of cash at a valuation of £10m. Give it a rest mate

Yes, 2bn shares to be added on completion of the acquisition (making a total of 4.3bn) however this is non-dilutive as we’ll be adding the value of Awkn to our balance sheet. New base mcap would have been £9m at a price at around .24 but given these developments for Awkn, the value should now be much higher than what we agreed to deal at. How many more times valuable is what now needs to be recognised. Surprised the market isn’t picking this up.

100% Tucky. Been watching this same pattern here for the last few trading days. Bring it down shake a few out and then it gets to this level where people don’t sell and then it’s back to .3s/.4s. Keeps setting a higher base though and I’ve been topping up the lows. Think we eventually break .5s.

Finally they let it go. Back up to .04s. If confirmation that Spreadex are out, back up to 0.65ish I think. If confirmation of Klarian deal or another acquisition by CTAI…it’s anyone’s guess. All IMO of course/DYOR.

In accordance with the Takeover Code, if First Equity hit 30% (currently 26%), they are mandated to make an offer for the remaining shares and must pay a minimum of the highest price they’ve paid to purchase shares in the last 12 months (4p as Laura noted). At the rate they’ve been buying, I think this is likely to start progressing this week. Any buyers from here should be set for a 150% gain in short term imo.

Yep book looking strong now. They dropped the bid but ask stayed up, and there have been twice as many buys than sells. MMS tried to shake people out but not getting many sells. They’ll have to move it up otherwise they’re not getting shares. I think Spreadex must be close to out, if not already. They might hold on to a few for next surge this week.

Took some more down here. All the signs are there. More than twice as many buys to sells. They’ll let it run up to .40s again before Spreadex is fully out imo. Then I think we push on to .50s.
