Lucky b**gers getting to buy at 5pps, when the logic points to it being multiples of that within a modest timeline of 6-12 months. Just need that offtake plan, see some photos of works and we’ll be on our way north. I’m planning on keeping 50% long term as the divis will be rude!
To the point of Ed’s previous statements on Leap value, he’d end up under investigation pretty quickly for either misleading share holders previously or committing a fraudulent disposal. So he has to be very careful on how the Leap disposal / IPO might take place.
Thanks Paul - a useful link and a lifeline to Sri Lanka. I’m hoping that we we should hear further IML news in the very near term, as I would argue that offtakers will want more acreage in the plan to validate investment. Or maybe they get digging and prove what’s available in the first two areas - I just want to see a picture of a JCB clearing the scrub and some marking out ;)
it has to be because they're on the final stages of sorting offtake I would say. I also think all financing will be seed-investor loaned; I'm thinking KLK will have first dibs on making a ROI on any loan. doubling down perhaps, but why give away anything to anyone else!
We must remember this was a tax shell, so there is something like £30m in the tank. hence dividends will be excellent once in production.
can anyone clarify what the GSMB are actually investigating or reviewing now, preventing them giving a decision? It feels very much like a couple of key people holding the pen on this, so i remain baffled as to what the queries or factors at play are?
Just topped up on payday with £1200. Not a huge amount I know, but that makes my average 9.999p - which sounds better than double digits ;)
Looking forward to one day us having the IML and this price is a long distant memory!
delays - I wonder if the report went under the nose of the GSMB? Did they have a right to review and approve? if so, might that mean that it was a trigger event for the IML and hence the delays? very curious as to whys delayed (just like our annual accounts take forever to be viewed and approved!).
