FinnC*ap talking rubbish again18 Jan 2023 08:04
29th December - Analysts at FinnCap believe IOG Plc has a "significant year ahead", following investments from the gas and infrastructure operator in several new wells, as the company attempts to accelerate the recovery of its reserves.
In the year ahead, the London-based company plans to start-up two Southwark wells, two appraisal wells and a second well on the Blythe field.
IOG's plans represent a possible turnaround from a year beset by production woes, FinnCap suggested on Thursday.
However, IOG has begun to make progress at its Southwark asset, with the A2 well test and clean-up planned for next week. Though first gas has slipped slightly to mid-January, it is expected that the Shelf Perseverance rig will then re-enter the A1 well, complete and stimulate it, and bring it onstream by the middle of next year.
