pione3r, MW never suggested that it was a zero in the initial report. He's suggested a lot of firms are a zero, their short was based on mis stating of assets and financial irregularities. It's probably not a zero but the short has been right so far, it's just unravelled a lot of information no one knew about it.

LB28 - I've been involved in two placings with GWMO. You are made inside. You then can't transact on the shares you can't buy anymore or sell any in the market. Once the RNS is out you can transact. If you're forward selling you are committing market abuse. If you know any Brokers that forward sell placings please pass it on and I'll contact the FCA - as three companies I've done it through all say you can't. But hey - what do I know?

No, you can't. You can't sell shares until the RNS comes out, just like you can't sell warrants until the RNS notifying the conversion is done. It's been the same way with three firms. Unless there's dodgy one out there you can't forward sell - otherwise if the placing gets pulled you end up short and end up with a New World Oil and Gas scenario.

Just to let you know as someone involved in about 100 placings in the last 5 years you can't sell placings until the RNS is announced.
