Recent market discussions (early April 2026) note Admarine 501 positioned roughly 20 nautical miles from the Njom-3 site (in Nigerian/Cameroonian border waters), indicating it is close and potentially nearing availability after its Nigeria contract.

Rig Contract DetailsIn June 2025, Tower issued a Letter of Award (LoA) to ADES (Advanced Energy Systems, affiliate of ADES Holding) for a jackup rig to drill Njom-3.

Original proposed rig: Admarine 510 (2019-built GustoMSC CJ-46-X100-D, three-legged jackup, water depth capability up to 375 ft).

Planned sequence: Drill Njom-3 for Tower first, then move to Addax Petroleum work (also in Cameroon).

Due to Saudi Aramco recalling Admarine 510 for work starting in 2026, ADES switched to Admarine 501 to fulfill the Cameroon commitments (including Tower's well and Addax program). This provides the rig with visibility for up to ~2 years in the region once mobilized from Nigeria.

Plans for CameroonADES Holding (the owner) announced in October 2025 that it will mobilize Admarine 501 to Cameroon after it finishes the current Nigeria program.

This is to fulfill a Cameroon drilling contract (originally linked to Addax Petroleum / Sinopec and possibly other work), providing the rig with visibility for up to ~2 years in Cameroon once mobilized.
