Strengthening Data Security with Semnet’s Distributed Encryption and Zero-Trust
Architecture
Semnet will integrate its Vaultrex Distributed Key Orchestration System, which uses Asymmetric Multi-Key Secret Sharing to split encryption keys across independent trust nodes. Decryption can only occur when a defined multi-party quorum authorizes access, removing the single-point-of-compromise risk present in traditional key storage.
To secure the data itself, Vaultrex enforces cryptographic attestation for every encryption and decryption request, ensuring that access cannot be replayed or executed covertly. The resulting high-entropy, non-deterministic ciphertext offers no patterns for analysis, and the ephemeral quorum-based key reconstruction means there is no offline brute-force path to decryption, even if encrypted data is intercepted.
Beyond Vaultrex, Semnet integrates best-in-class cybersecurity solutions across identity control, network segmentation, endpoint protection, and behavioral threat analytics, forming a multi-layered, zero-trust security posture suitable for mission-critical AI environments.
“AI adoption has outpaced security readiness,” said Melvin Chan, CEO of Semnet. “This partnership enables us to deliver AI data centers that are secure-by-design. Even in the event of a breach, the data remains cryptographically protected and resilient. That is the standard enterprise and sovereign systems now require.”
