Well I'm assuming the application went in late August early Sept at the very least considering the companies house update, so over 4 months now you would hope.

I know the Fca are prehistoric, but surely even they can't take long to authorise a person to carry out CASS duties? I mean come on.... get with the program.

Sunny yes, up 12% in 5 days. Which is a great return and clearly shows others are getting the message even though we've been fighting against a seller. It all looks very promising to me, I didn't even know about a CASS until I read the report by Pinsents, the appointment of Wellesley absolutely makes sense even more now, he 100% has the qualifications to fulfil this role, they need to be UK based as well, so voila....

All makes sense to me Lloyd, Lord Wellesley could be the final part of the jigsaw to satisfy Fca requirements, once he's got Fca approval to take on that roll then we are off, why would they appoint someone to become a CASS officer if they weren't ready to launch? It's all coming together, the appointment of such an officer must mean everything is ready to go and now we have that person to oversee it all and report back. Great stuff.

Jambone, the paranoia is strong in you, I have no interest in 'getting back in' unless they win a contract with a major miner. Do you have any idea how much is left in the bank, how long does 2m last here?

(1) A CASS small firm must allocate to a single director or senior manager of sufficient skill and authority responsibility for:

(a) oversight of the firm’s operational compliance with CASS; and

(b) reporting to the firm's governing body in respect of that oversight.

The FCA is proposing that regulated stablecoin issuers should designate a person, a CASS oversight officer, to be responsible for ensuring compliance with the rules on backing assets, as well as overseeing the processes and controls related to them.

So Gst appointed Pinsent masons as their legal advisors in Sept 2022 to assist them with the stablecoin application. 5 Days ago they posted this article. I do hope they've earned their money here.
