What sort of deal do you expect? Why would any of this lot be interested in a 10cm square piece of skin? If they ever show any tangible interest it'll be when BSFA have scaled up to producing actual hides at least 1m square. That is years away, if it ever happens. For now the most they'll have done is say, 'yes that's nice, come back when you have something we can use'. Remember 2 years ago they were telling us the world was wanting their pork 'fillet' and the magic potion used to grow it. If it was a buy then it was at a significant discount, which is not good. A buy of that size at a discount suggests there’s still a lot of stock around, probably placing shares, holding the price back. When you see buys at a premium, then that’s the time to get excited.

Just a few weeks ago the chuckle brothers were swanning it around Paris giving it large about courting fashion houses and how they expected something to come of it 'soon'. It didn't. Just like the fake meat craze they were pumping, it's all withered away. Remember the fillet and the city-mix and the trials etc, whatever happened to that, have they ever sold any?? And besides, any sort of commercial scale up would be years away. Maybe the fashion bod's will go for it if it ever comes into fashion, but for now they are happy selling bags made from real cows and alligators, not Che and his science project. But he's happy to keep the gravy train a' rollin'.
