Ok,so come April 1st, when I come on here with my "l told you so" moment... believe me,I'm going to savour the moment.

The deal hasn't been ratified by the Indonesian Parliament yet,yes,a signed framework was agreed,but like I have said,both the US and Indonesians Congress/parliament are not happy about the terms... that's the latest position today, not back in February.

Maybe back in early February...it's nearly the end of March and things have changed...keep up...

The US deal has basically been paused by the Indonesians,it seems they are waiting for the US to improve their terms.

This is a potential long term play,but not before March 31st.Its a bit like owning a piece of coal long enough for it to turn into a Diamond! But, fair play to anyone who sticks this one out.

Indonesia has a history of resource nationalism.The "Technical" Delay: Instead of a dramatic public exit,they simply let the RKAB approvals for companies like PYX sit in limbo.By "missing" the March 31st deadline,they effectively shut down exports without officially breaking any treaty terms.This is obviously just theoretical based on the Indonesians playing hard ball for better terms.

Despite the high-profie signing,the deal is facing a revolt in Jakarta.The Indonesian Parliament is reportedly reconsidering ratification because the US legal basis for the original 32% tarrif threat was declared unconsitutional.For a company like PYX,this means the guaranteed US demand might not translate into a fast tracked licence if the underlying treaty itself is stalled or being renogotiated.

In short:The US has a deal to try and get more minerals,but Indonesia had used the same deal to ensure they maintain TOTAL CONTROL over who gets a licence and how much they can ship....

Quota Controls:To stabilise global prices, Indonesia is actually cutting production quotas for 2026 across the sector.

Higher Bars for Entry:The new agreement requires foreign-owned entities to follow the exact same tax, environmental and labour rules as domestic firms.For a company already struggling with financial disclosures and a trading halt, these "standardized"rules make a licence renewal HARDER .not easier.

Legal Uncertainty:The deals future is currently clouded by a US Supreme Court ruling (20th Feb 2026) that struck down the very tarrifs that the US used to pressure Indonesia into the deal in the first place.

I asked Google Ai out of curiosity,to pretend to be a gambler and give me the odds of PYX getting it's licence before the end of March...20%.The US unlimited quantities agreement doesn't apply mean an open tap for Zircon.The agreement aims to secure access,it doesn't grant unlimited export rights.The Indonesian PM Prabowo Subianto has reaffirmed that even under this new deal, domestic downstreaming is non-negotiable.Any company US partnered or not must process minerals within Indonesia and adhere to strict new "market price" standards too.

Ifiknew,I concur.The Board knew that the consequences of not filling their accounts would get them suspended from the ASX ..their main trading platform.Im guessing that they have thrown the towel in,it's always more didgery mining outside of Tier 1 region's.The MM's must have made an absolute fortune here, it's been a traders wet dream,sadly just like some 1960's weird cult it's followers will lose everything imo.

I bought back in a couple of days ago, after losing patience a while back... wont happen again!New Boss + New Contract announcement either the same day or within 24 hrs is what I think with happen here.They have jumped through all the high-level security clearance hoops etc.DH could actually take-off share price wise this year rather than 2 + years in... right time, right place.

I now own 1.02% of the company and 4.925% of the free-float,I'm not the biggest private holder here, but I am putting my money where my mouth is.The potential here is as good as it gets in any market imo.

Nobody, but why let next door carry it out either way? Why not pay an independent survey company to do the work?

If JZ wanted to start a potential bidding war between the major's, then surely he would of hired an independent survey company to do the job?...he didn't,he decided to let a friendly neighbour have a look over the fence instead,why would they charge us for that?... unless they just wanted to kick the tyres before making an offer?.
