I hold only a small holding with II in my SIPP,it's showing both but buy and sell options...but I haven't tried a dummy sell.

My planned SIPP retirement is 59 at the moment and I may stick to it.My ISA covers my living costs plus a bit at the moment,but it's growing well now due to good investment choices...so far! Cev,I've found your posts on how you managed your SIPP quite enlightening! I'm really going to start looking at the subject more in-depth.The idea of actual managing my fund after retirement sounds good and would keep the mind sharp and turn investing into more of a hobby,yup,I've learned some interesting stuff tonight 👍

Nettles,the reason I'm taking the 25%(that's if labour don't feck it up),I'm considering buying a river/shore boat.Ive always fancied the canals and waterways of Europe,like the canal du midi all the way to the med... although im more likely to spend it on slow horses and fast women!😅

Yup,I will be taking the 25%, when the Government tells you a figure.... double it, like inflation is closer to 10% rather than the 4% they claim, I will probably buy a global tracker and a emerging markets tracker as mainstays of my SIPP.

Nettles,I'm not sure yet tbh,i really need to wait until the dust settles after the MRE,I may hold on little longer if I like the company plan.Im more inclined to go down the annuity/drawdown route than just buy an aniuity.I can see inflation getting way out of control and as long as you keep some pension money invested,then you at least have a fighting chance of keeping up with the cost of living,in fact you should hopefully beat it,but that's a battle for another day.

Slappy,the board hold 1.37%,instutuons 15.34% and general public 84.51%.Halifax and Barclays share dealers own roughly 4% each out of interest amongst the big holders.
