You don't understand the process. No reason why you should, and it has wrinkles hard to explain short of a medium sized novel. You are left with trust. You trust us to disclose a realistic summation as often as we can. Or you don't. If the latter, well that's a choice you are free to make. The disclosure requirements laid on us by regulation we can easily fulfil. Trying to convey our appreciation of the current position so that you aren't confronted with a black box for a very long period is where you have to rely on us to be acting in good faith. I hope that helps.

And by the way we can't go to the ruler of 100m people and say 'drop everything, we need something outside the normal processes', can we? Not easily.
