Any other strict NDA in the history of gagging orders turned into a thrice weekly soap opera, including a special bank holiday episode? There is purportedly a serious player to be revealed and have ultimately have their name associated with this absolute shambles. Just doesn’t stack up along with many other things.
I was part of a European road trip ten years or so back, including a brand new Aston V12 and Ferrari California. The motor that got most attention along the way was a dog rough 1980s Vauxhall convertible, rebadged from ‘Cavalier’ to ‘Chavalier’ (and no, it wasn’t mine).
It doesn’t always need £££ to enjoy life, just as well if you’re waiting on this to conclude..
I thank goodness there will be enough new or decent used petrols to see my driving days out.
1984, you know the W12 engine is discontinued from this month? From the way the clown is messing about you’ll be on the list for a 2035 Bentley EV..
9:58, seriously Hubba? Thought you were at least partially grounded.
A random description from the web:
What is an unaware narcissist?
Characteristics of the oblivious narcissist:
Insensitive to others. Fears irrelevance and feeling unloved (un-adored). Attention-seeking and grandiose. Violates others' boundaries and manipulates in relationships. Makes life decisions to boost superficial image and ego-driven success
I’m pretty sure she doesn’t acknowledge to herself that she’s the devious, lying, scheming, social climbing, obnoxious individual (that most of us see). Anyway, it’s HG Tudor that can explain it far better than I can.
Many would be unaware narcissists. Meghan Markle supposedly mid range unaware. Certainly isn’t a hint of self awareness there! Of course the upper range would merge into full blown sociopathy.
Most fraud is ultimately doomed, if that’s what it is. Maybe not even a primarily financial motive. Some good podcasts by a guy called HG Tudor who fully admits to being a high level Narcissist and explains the drivers of the condition, key being meeting the prime aims, control, character trait acquisition. Truthfulness and a grasp of what most would consider rational thought and consequences of actions don’t enter the equation.
Just about the best case scenario (it was actually suggested by 1984) i Amit assuming the role of agent, employing a £30 per hour web designer and is in a mess with it - to obviously benefit from the assumed fee of c. $2m.
Smacks of the old Ronnie Barker joke, “If I was Rockefeller I’d be richer than Rockefeller”. Ronnie Corbett “Why?” Barker “I’d do a bit of window cleaning on the side”.
Worst case, if there was no deal for what ever reason, Amit now hasn’t much choice but to keep can kicking for obvious reasons.
‘Current batch’ lol, I’m up for a long service medal soon, been following 8 years..
*just remembered it is supposed to be 4.8 cents, giving $48m leaving $2m for the ‘agent’.
Not sure the relevance of the pre IPO price, but thanks. All shares are supposedly up for 4 cents a pop for the supposed licensing deal, $50m if the whole book paid out, much less so if it is just those holders that do actually get a payment was my point.
How much to eventually pay just those who bought in the pre ipo at 4 cents a share? (hence why the focus on just these?). Chump change compared to the full book and maybe thinks it gives breathing space to string the rest along for a while yet.
That’s best case scenario, leaves a lot of downside. As always, if it doesn’t happen, it will be blindingly obvious it wasn’t going to from way back. But good luck , nobody can prove it won’t happen.
Yes, makes sense. I’m used that sort of verification for ID on property transactions, but not specifically through bank details. (My first passport in 1990, I got my solicitor to vouch for me. A few years later - every time I bought a property, he needed a copy of my passport - that’s when I knew we were going backwards as a society).
Begs the question, why not just get on with publicising the b****y portal, that quote was from getting on 5 months back.
“Shareholders will be contacted by the agent to provide specific information in a timely fashion to enable payment. The agent’s portal has two level verification so you will need to provide your name, address, contact details and bank details.”
I don’t understand that statement from Amit.
However I do understand two level verification as it affects dozens of websites and apps I use regularly (as do others I’m sure).
Happy to be educated..
You are right, I made an assumption that shareholders would at a minimum expect to see some external verification (at long last) and again assumed that a bone fide agent with checkable credentials would be the minimum expected. The very best of luck in emailing a Cloudtag address with your bank details etc without any additional verification.
The secrecy around the paying agent is a giveaway. If anyone were to actually receive notification on the 2nd, the agent details would be effectively in the public domain pronto courtesy of X, this board, ADVFN etc. If this were happening then just post the agent details on the Cloudtag website on Tuesday.
As no nominees, except the Dentist, are even sure that initial contact has even been made with any broker, the agents would be overwhelmed if their details were revealed, it’s a dead cert that nothing will happen on Tuesday that could identify any agent. From that I will conclude that no contact will happen. (Unless there is a strict NDA on revealing the agent within the contact email - on pain of not getting the payout if you do, lol)
Anyone else think he is desperately badgering his brother to stump up the cash but keeps getting knocked back?
