Its out out of the question! British companies are really cheap right now and at this price it's a gift! Funeral Director's are a solid, reliable money making machine. OK, at the moment its in a cut price war right now, but Dignity has a monopoly position. And with Pheonix as a possibly disgruntled share holder, together with other institutional shareholders hungry for profit, this could well be a vulnerable prey for someone! If so....at these prices......takeout would be £10+

Yes, I have no doubt that Carclo are making huge advances as a result of the medical requirements regarding Covid.

We the current shareholders are very fortunate to be in this share now, while it is still a minnow that has not yet hit the big boy's radar! This is how you make real money with shares, getting in before the horse bolts. By the time everyone is talking about this share as a buy......its all too late! This share has been through a bad patch but now seems to have hit a sweet spot. I remember 6 or 7 years ago David Swartz, whose opinion I respected greatly, recommending this share in the FT. So it was highly regarded and will be again!

Dignity PLC - funeral services provider - Says Phoenix Asset Management Partners Ltd has made a binding commitment not to bid for the company. Phoenix said it will not seek to control the board of Dignity.

"We want to return to our work helping Dignity develop the best strategy for long term value creation because that is what we believe will deliver the best outcome for shareholders. If we lose the vote the board has said it will block Phoenix's involvement with Dignity and remove our board representative," Phoenix says in its statement Tuesday.

Yes, I agree with you....anything is going to be better than what we have. But Pheonix has a high motivation to get things moving and I'm sure they will succeed!
I keep posting here to try and kick start a debate in these shares, but not many people seem interested.

I would suggest that the departure of the over paid "fat cat" directors of Dignity should be as swift as it is expedient! Vote for Gary Channon as soon as you get the ballot paper. We the share holders very much want the "great value of this company to be unlocked" NOW!!!

Thank you Jsyboy, that was helpful. Maybe that was my mistake back in 2017, buying CNA when the P/E was low. It proved to be a costly mistake. But for sure, the shares should be good value now and they are a reliable business.......75p ought not to be too unrealistic in the short term.

I am a holder of these shares and I really hope that they are as cheap and value for money as some people think. However, I was about to buy more shares yesterday as the trend seems to be going higher for the SP. In the end I thought twice when I saw the P/E ratio, as published on this site, was 79+ Is there anyone out there who can assuage my concerns?

All this hysteria is getting on my nerves! I do wish everyone would calm down.
On the5th of June three Directors bought a significant number of shares. They ought to be in the know if anyone! Either they bought these shares to deliberately mislead the market and push the price of RKH shares higher, or they are well aware of a favourable outcome and no serious threat to the future OM settlement.
