I like AJ Bell, but I will be contacting them tomorrow to ask why dealing fees suddenly seem to have doubled.

To be honest, I thought it a bit strange that we didn’t see the same degree of uplift in our SP as other companies newly promoted to the MSCI Small Cap Index this week. Perhaps it’s just a bit delayed.

Dufry, we went through this yesterday. BR are passive managers offering the iShares range of Index funds. Therefore they are obliged to buy into the shares of companies that are present in the indices that their funds are tracking. They were legally obliged to buy into EUA when the new index composition came into effect on Dec 1st.

Even though this was not a ‘conviction buy’ by BR, it is still excellent news for EUA to have large institutional funds behind it and it is a measure of the increasing maturity and importance of the company and its assets.

Please use this thread to name and shame anyone dumb enough to respond to 9”N for the rest of the day. He deserves to be completely ignored.

Is it true that people aren’t going to be told which vaccine they are getting (out of Pfizer/ Moderna/Oxford)? That’s totally outrageous. And yet, I guess the Gov. will be keeping records and surreptitiously collecting data about outcomes. Wasn’t this kind of thing forbidden at the Nuremberg trials?

I see that the newspapers are declaring ‘V day’, suggesting that by vaccinating a small section of the population over the next few weeks, we can declare victory over Covid. They were obviously only listening very selectively to JCVT et al during yesterday’s media briefing.

Totally agree. Accurate antigen testing for current state of infectiousness is what we all need.
