Afternoon RNS announcing that the CFO has bought some shares. Does this mean that one of our tied manufacturers will not be announcing any news soon? Anyone know what the rules are?

However, does this mean that news is not imminent?

Very interesting Apre. There's a whole load of cooperation going on behind the scenes by UK life science companies. Alastair Amith referred to this in his last interview with Vox. Perhaps Abcam are supplying the colour change reagents that show when the affimers have bound to the antigen? Who knows. It's like a bloody Agatha Christie novel trying to figure it all out. We were hoping from some clarity from Boris' briefing yesterday, but he still seems determined to focus on vaccination and waffles about anything else.

Surely the fact that they have 1) been suspended 2) failed to reveal promised names and 3) seem to have the same business model as the Cameron punt Greensill which has now gone bust is ample reason to avoid SYME. Each and every one of their RNS is full of smoke and mirrors.

Personally, I prefer the transparency and immediacy that you get from Peter Wall.

So what do we think? Are the free NHS tests the end of the Innova stockpile, or are they the culmination of weeks of secret production by the U.K. consortium (which isn’t deemed worthy of a mention?)

Well it's a bit of a damp squib so far. What about our fab U.K. consortium, the massive stockpile of home-produced LFDs and the fact that this is as huge an achievement as the vaccination roll out?
A vaccination only passport might be discriminatory in the sense that some people can’t be vaccinated but there’s absolutely no reason why people shouldn’t opt for a recent LFD test instead (especially if free.)
