RE: Paterson AZY6 Sep 2021 10:58
By the noises Stephen Power is making, they want to maintain 100% of Minyari. They’re fully funded for the foreseeable and have increased the campaign by over 50% to 35,000m. Plus the results of the JV to come. For its market cap I do believe AZY have incredible growth coming it’s way, but a long way off being anything near Havieron.
I always feel uncomfortable with the comparisons because it’s very hard to benchmark an asset against something like Havieron. It’s open in numerous directions and just keeps growing, all you know is the scale of it is enormous.
Minyari should and will be treated as an individual entity, despite the continuation of Havieron 2.0/ Havieron look alike from the BOD. I believe 362m@1.4g/t from 230m is an outstanding hit it really is. I’m just enjoying the growth atm, and as a district, the Paterson looks unrivalled in the world of exploration
Like others have stated, with the decline and intensity Newcrest and GGP have moved at, that’s why they’re well on the way to being a £B company and beyond. It bodes well for Scallywag and Bh. Antipas next objective after the upcoming resource upgrades is to try and map out and prove how they intend to join the production ladder. It’s what’s it’s all about to be fair. Pointless discovering numerous multi million oz deposits if you can’t get it out of the ground.
Im not sure how they’ll raise the capital, hoping not through further dilution or if they do, they’ll be able to do it on more favourable terms than $A0.042 again. There may be options outside of this but it’s all just estimated guesses right now. Maybe something similar to what GGP did, but AZY want to keep Minyari all to itself so probably a little trickier. With Newcrest upping/retaining its 9% stake at every possible turn, being its largest shareholder, and with its $A60m JV along with the Rio & IGO Peojects, Antipa looks to be a very solid investment for its price.
The recent Juri results shouldn’t be underestimated and I can’t wait to feast my eyes on further results over the next few years. All very promising and great to see a little bit of wind behind the GGP sails this week :) GLA
