There’s nothing really missing Lw. We discussed it not long ago about how this looks like it has everything.
It’s Important to not get carried away, but it’s clear as day that each set of assays are not only confirming the historic drilling, but substantially improving upon it. 265,000 oz inferred. The purpose of this campaign is not only to upgrade that to indicated, but to increase the resource too.
We’re doubling the metres that have been drilled at Sanankoro and the results have been spectacular. Important to keep in mind that the historic 2019 results were equally impressive. In terms of ounces in the ground, I wouldn’t know where to begin. I’d conservatively say this 500koz is achievable here. But think we’ll be pushing on to 1moz. Zone C had no resource estimate and chucked out some real nice high grade hits which will be followed up immediately. We’re getting hits, good hits, beyond 100m on numerous zones, remember the 1-2 Moz exploration target was based on a depth of up to 100m. 3 rigs have been busy DD at Selin to expand that pit shell. Along with the rest of the results, Sanankoro has the potential of much more.
If you look at the scoping study, it was based on an average production rate of around 45,000 oz per annum. This was conservative IMO and tied in with the 265,000 oz resource. When this is upgraded, the scale of the scope study will blow wide open. Potential for annual cash flow to hit $40-50m. Maybe more.
If we hit the magical 1moz, “if”, value of the gold in the ground like stated previously will be 1.3moz. Even if AISC amounts to $800-900 an oz, this could be a project worth £600m+. When you compare that to our current market cap, it’s insane.
The near term potential for Cora Gold as it stands is mouth watering. One step at a time. 24 holes to report from zone A and around 24,000m still to report overall. Let’s take it week by week, collect the data and wait for the resource estimate to be upgraded
Feet up tonight and crack a beer open everyone. The sleeping giant has just woken up. Full credit to Bert, the team and the contracting company the hired for this campaign. Outstanding.
