Porters just arrived to take him for a CT scan. He asked if someone could come as a chaperone.
The desperate bint didn't volunteer even though she was doing nothing, so the healthcare worker in charge of our section had to go.
The db said "careful he does his thing" (her voice sounded very down and ill at this point), the porter very carefully as if talking to a child asked what that means and she said he hits out.
When the porters left, Shaft made a comment and she just went delerious and has now offered to go and make him a coffee.
None of this is normal/professional.

A night or so ago she put on our rooms TV to MAX volume. I heard her crazy voice going "wakey, wakey, everyone!".
When I asked her about it later she denied any of it happened.

She's moved back to sit with Shaft in between desperate attempts at any chat she phoned up one of her kids now they're chatting against. Inane stuff.

Shaft has moved into the bed next to me and the female health care assistant in charge of our ward has been moved because she was doing nothing but sitting next to him and offering to buy him fags, use of her cutlery, and gave him her mug. FUBAR. Then, one of the old boys with dementia got up and wondered off and smashed his head. CHAOS. BIG bandage and waiting to be taken for a CT scan. Doctor can't be found. Earlier the couple next door were commenting that all older people should be DNR. Quality people.

A formal investigation has been instigated - I cannot state online but it is big.

DRAMA!

For the past 24 hours they have got the dose of the anti-seizure meds wrong, suddenly doubled, and I have overdosed on them. This has led to periods of coma and confusion.

The ward sister came in drew the curtains and explained everything. A senior manager is coming to see me tomorrow. I feel like Keith Richards at the moment.

lucky to be alive and not dead, blind or paralysed.

I just bought back in at the same price I sold for. I think this will rise sharply next week. FOMO!
