* The PT is essential. The company cannot progress without one. Should Synairgen be successful in negotiating a P3 Platform trial, this will be viewed favourably by the market. The stock price should increase as a result.
* Additionally, taking into account SNG001’s potential as an effective treatment for the symptoms induced by multiple viruses (LC suppression is a major consideration here), the viability of an acquisition then comes to the fore.

Can anyone explain why the chi-squared test was used rather than the test for statistical significance used in Sprinter?

There is a tussle over on ADVFN over whether the PASC results are "statistically significant".

Not sure whether the confusion arises from one persons use of the precise statistics definition of "statistical significance" and another persons use of the laymans definition of the phrase.

Not at all. This is now a sobering share to hold and, in the absence of good news, the share price continues to decline. The squabbling (and passive aggressive *****iness) is embarrassing.

I'm assuming a TO offer would be made if it passed the interim analysis.

Even when we were on Sprinter and passed the interim analysis an offer wasn't made.

Now, AFTER Sprinter, even with good PASC data, ACTIV-2 data, inclusion on a clinical trial and passing the interim analysis, even then, they might wait until we pass a P3 trial.

However, I suspect good PASC data could significantly increase the possibility of an offer given the figures for long covid in the US.
