Rufus Short is a quietly spoken man and doesn't project the personality that LC does. Also if you've never seen him, you wouldn't recognise him by that very old photo.

Is most everything that we understood the current situation to be. They don't appear to have any major problems with the mining, and with the capacity of 40k cbm per month. Also the comment about "Tanzania and others" (I need to listen to it again), but sounds like they are exporting!!! The Interview only covered the current mining operation (which is still good newsworthy information) but eluded to mention the status regarding the RCPP, and notability the lack of information re Sinhydro and the expiring MoU. Quelling the storm piece by piece as you'd expect. All in all not a bad interview if you listen to the scaremongers on other boards and platforms imo

Gillie2 You are right about Sinhydro, but it's only an 18 month non-formal MoU naturally expiring 19th of next month. Naturally expiring because it's past the optional 2 month termination point which is good.

the 19th July 18, so the 2 months termination notice point has passed which is good to know. It means if it expires it will do so naturally. So if Sinhydro chose to sign a formal MOU that will be a massive plus for EDL and the project imho

Pauly I think I am correct in saying they never have a deal with sepco only discussions with several prospects in 2016. They chose Sinhydro Corp to advance the project and have a MOU re BFS and PPP and non formal EPC agreement with them. All ttbomk Laguna I have to say that there is something fundamentally wrong with what he is said to be taking out of the company,....so 'cozy lifestyle' is a good analogy Sadly!

Laguna As someone that was previously invested in EDL you well know how much work has gone into getting the company to this point. The problem as I see it, and as Boffer sees it is, is the current bod able to take it all the way. The current answer is clearly no.

Off Topic: Pauly There is no doubt that EDL have had problems mining this year as is reflected in the sp, but they are a tanz coal miner whether people like it or not,....and with 173 mt of coal and a full mining licence. They were awarded their licence in early 2016 by the MEM on National TV. Although a small miner, I reckon if they failed it would surely send some very negative signals across tanz that the coal mining industry could well do without.

Yaki You didn't offend me, you surprised me!! I have met LC many times over the years, and he has always found it difficult to say anything positive about Edenville, so nothing new there. Pauly101 I have no reason to disbelieve yaki, but hope it was nothing more than a sarcastic remark,.....but I will be looking at Tancoal and the IEC status...

yaki I'm surprised you'd bother with such a low remark about EDL when you know many here are invested in both companies? Perhaps you would enlighten us on LC's remarks about Edenville as you've gone so far as to suggest you hope that Boffer is out of the company?...
