I did like the remark that David Rae made about value for shareholder and the fact that they are very conscious that the SP is not what it should be balanced against what has been achieved, but is probably (definitely imo) a legacy from Proxama....

Reckon Dangote will fare very well (on several fronts) if the Steiglers Gorge does actually ever get off the ground, but can't see that there is the slightest chance of achieving their timescale. They just don't have what it takes imho AND if they got the investment and the partners to build it it will probably take 10 or 20 years (knowing what we know) and go bankrupt in the process, BUT should it succeed it could take 50 years to repay the debt AND bearing in mind they can't even get a few piddly (in comparison) CPP's off the ground with people fighting to get it done!

In answer to your question. My feeling is that everything must be considered on hold until the results of the tenders are announced. Realistically there can't be any advance with the MCPP until our bid is known to be successful.

Things here will change dramatically with that notification, as one would assume there can only be two possible outcomes!?...

I would add that I don't think LC of wholly to blame, but do feel he should make a personal statement regarding the current enigma.
