Building a 134-meter-tall concrete arch dam requires a Great deal of power (coalfired power) and coal product. It's ironic that you need coal which they have an abundance (but not the mentality to utilise it) to build a green hydro project,....AND in the middle of the protected Selous Game Reserve. You couldn't make it up!

Also doubtful there will be any funds forthcoming from the World Bank for the Transmittion Line without the prospect of a few substations alone the proposed route. aimho

I agree a Consolidation is not necessarily a bad thing, equally it's not always a good thing. In this case they think it's something that needs addressing.

Every single aim I have ever been involved in has had one or more consolidations. I also had a Share Offer that rounded up by x per 100/1000 shares bought/taken up, which was nice at the time.

Consolidations and Placings do tend to go hand in hand, so it would be nice to know if the current revenue stream will negate the need for a Placing.

A 'Consolidation' alone will not change the value of anyone's investment, and
we have known for some time that a consolidation was always a possibility.

I posted on 13th September that:

With 20,983,343,705 shares in issue shortly, I would guess at some stage
we will have a Consolidation of something around, or in excess of 50/1....

If what we have been told is true, I personally see no reason to be nervous about a consolidation having been apart of many over the years.

Will they need to fund raise? Obviously a possibility, but again if you believe everything we've been told, and are an investor then at the right price there will be another opportunity to increase your investment. aimho

We've heard all the conspiracy theories of which there is none. The mms are doing what mms do, and that will never change. The reason we are down is because there is no buying pressure, as no one currently wants to buy with no news updates or into a share that has continued to decline for 6 or 7 years to an all time low with no active response from the bod.

Sentiment can change very quickly, and that decline could disappear in a few days with the news that the market requires. Winning the Tender would instantly change our status.

What we need now is a full update on the mine and where the Bod think we are and what's in the pipeline. Starving the market of news is not helping which I'm sure Rufus is aware of, but for some reason has never really attempted to address the problem. aimho

Consolation between 20/1 and 50/1?.... and sounds like a few Options thrown in for Management.

A forecast of £2.2m in their second year is quite a statement, and a figure that (in their words) they are confident of hitting. That could come back and bite them in the bum, but think it's fair to assume that to make that forecast they already know considerably more than they are letting on.... I can live with that!! :)
