Hey Kabaa - yes it’s very risky going naked long (not suggesting that), for me it’s more just a hedge at this point as I still got my short on too... it’s just become very binary so treading more carefully here.

Stepped out for dinner and just checking back in here.(zing Sydney right now)
I liked the fact that so many of the rampers have capitulated and the more unrealistic takeover news is out of the way.
I will see how this closes today to see if I wish to continue to stay long. It’s very risky as ultimately I still feel there is more bad news to come but there could be a ST trading opportunity here. I’m on a short leash, with a guaranteed stop, so will not hesitate to pull the plug.
I’ve had success shorting the spikes recently so trying a cheeky long here. My views have not changed and fully expect more bad news eventually.

How is anybody surprised by this?!
I and others have been barking on about this for ages.
1) KGI does not appear anywhere on any of the form 8.3 or 8.5s on the latest share register of NMC
2) nmc never confirmed by rns their approach (which they have to according to the takeover code)
3) it was very suspicious them not naming this “undisclosed third party” who was supposedly interested...

Common guys, it’s not rocket science.
