Not so sure about the ease of getting a bet on these days Fleurs. Affordability checks are a massive problem.
I hope many here have signed the petition?! We should all be free to spend our legally acquired (& taxed) money as we choose.

Post seems to have been removed. I can surmise what he must have written.
I just don't understand why people come onto a board and knock those who give up their time to set up something that is so v valuable to all GGP investors. Utterly reprehensible.
Please do not lose heart, Bamps et al
I for one really value your input.

Can I just add my huge gratitude for the sterling work put in by Bottle et al every 6 weeks.
It's informative & entertaining too.
The knowledge of Bamps & Stu is extraordinary and when orchestrated by Bottle with his infectious Tiggerish delivery it makes for addictive viewing.

Thanks Paddy.
I thought it must be something along those lines but thought can it really be determined before the gold coloured stuff is extracted?!
Your answer is much appreciated.
Have a good weekend all.

Hi Bamps (and any other mining experts).
I've been wanting to ask my quessie for a while now but admit am fearing huge embarrassment over the answer.
People have said (including you here, hence my reply) that Havieron's output will be mixed with that of Telfer for processing; "Our high grades will be mixed with Telfer's weak grades". As GGP has no involvement in Telfer how are they able to calculate who's owed what out of the gold that emerges?

Have just listened to the podcast Tigger.
Peter was an absolute titan in the history of British sports broadcasting.
His use of whimsy is sadly from a bygone era; he brought such charm & humour to his broadcasts all of course underpinned by deep knowledge, love & respect for the game.
Coverage of the Open was never the same after custody was wrested from Peter & the Beeb.

Please please please do NOT reply to them.
I don't care whether one chooses to use the filter button or not just don't engage.
What we must do is continue to post positive bulletins. Continue to explain why GGP is a great company to be invested in.
If you want to post about Brits or cars, (or anything else) fine. But can I just ask everyone to not respond or refer to the negative comments that are clearly being posted to unnerve. They damage us.
Don't give them the oxygen.
Please can we try and be unified on this - JUST IGNORE THEM.
I promise they will scuttle off eventually if no one rises to the bait.
Sadly Tom I didn't follow Corporal Jones' mantra and bailed on half my holding at 23.5 (had set myself the limit of 24p).
I'm so frustrated and angry at myself but it had broken floors that many on here said it wouldn't and the drop seemed never ending.
LTH's trust me, it's a damn sight easier to hold and be patient when in at sub 3p (of course I'm aware that large paper losses were incurred) but you were v much playing with their money (to use a punter's term).
I bought back in at 28p so I 'm pretty steaming now. I kept chasing it up 25.5p then 26.5p then 27p and finally had to cough up and pay the 2 & 8 this morning and that's certainly what I'm in now. A right one!
Arghhhh.
Hi Stebo.
That was good to read in that it's always good to read of likeminded souls who can identify with the frustrations & pressures of the past few weeks.
I was certain when logging on and watching the lads last night (dissecting the NCM release) that this was going to bound forward. I'm all out of ideas. I'm all out of hope. AIM is just beating me up.
Hi Doggy.
Been busy at work
I bought in 4 tranches and am sitting with an average of 18p so I'm okay but my hopes have been crushed. I intended to cash out mid/late summer (or top slice if it hit 60p) as I will need some money about then.
I'm determined not to make a loss and may bail if it drops below 24p

Quite a few of us may feel that between Covid & the Fed we're all set for a trip to hell in a handcart. And to make matters worse our excursion could be for some time, certainly a few years. This presents a dilemma for those, like me, who can't afford to wait out the impending crash.
For those who bought sub 2p many can top slice & trouser a significant sum whilst ensuring that the balance of their investment stays on the train awaiting the big payday further down the tracks. And to be clear I do think this big payday will come. But it could be 5yrs+ - Not long in the world of investment but too long for my needs.
When the crash comes it will be swift (we've been told this) and it will include mining stocks (we've been told this too, indeed history suggests such stocks will take the hit first).
I believe GGP is now de-risked and the drilling results at Havieron have been astonishingly good. The results released last night we were told are the best yet so how can this share continue to flounder? What is it going to take to get it back to high 30's and on to 50p+?
Yes I've been told it's "MM's playing games"; that this is the nature of mining stocks; this is AIM; consider the fundamentals; sit tight it will right itself tomorrow,. Unfortunately tomorrow doesn't seem to be coming!
The price has dropped 30% in 4 weeks, that's a big drop when essentially the news has been good - certainly Havieron wise! I know Scally was bad news (let's be honest we all got into a frenzy believing that it would be Hav2) but this fall is getting hard to take.
Many have been led to believe that this will inexorably rise, not by the leaps & bounds of early 2020 but that with each bit of news/set of results it will creep up.
I know this share has performed fantastically when examined over 6/9/12 months but not over 3 months and certainly not over the last month.
Unlike the lth's we can't all be quite so sanguine.
I've sat on my hands up till now but today's share performance has been hard to take.
I'm not a trader (I'm sure this is apparent), I'm not a deramper and I'm not a dreamer.
I'm just someone who's finding it increasingly difficult to believe the rhetoric.
A very forensic examination of the situation Magic. I can only imagine how much time and effort must have gone into producing that video, very public-spirited.
Myself and I'm sure many others on this board owe you a debt of gratitude.
I also took the opportunity to catch up on one of your earlier videos, I'll admit to being very much out of my comfort zone (my failing not yours) but definitely ended up with an enhanced understanding of the processes involved in gold exploration.
Thank you
Adz
Hi Tom.
I want to ask you something ISA related which I'm sure is obvious but I can't get clarity from anywhere. But I have to do something urgently so I'll come back to you in a couple of hours time if I may.
