Has anyone else been stopped tax on part of the dividend (in an ISA) ? I would be grateful if someone could check and let me know, thanks.

Personally I'm a bit worried about what is going on in the flats above my local co-op. Lots of comings and goings and a bouncer on the door.

...except the yield for anyone buying at this price.

Have just watched the presentation, thank you FRTEB. Yes, I would invest if I was allowed to, like Vulcan I would have to go to a different broker, which I could easily do, but as I will soon have all my holdings in my ISA, I prefer to keep things altogether. Some brokers are "Retail" brokers and cannot allow people to invest in "Specialist" products - mainly in case there are claims against them if things go wrong. There is more about the listings here. It's such a massive spread it's difficult to actually work out if there is a fall or not. More of a share for buying and holding than panicking.

Since my previous post I sold out and invested elsewhere. The share price has done really well but the dividends haven't followed as yet. I try to keep the total yield on my portfolio of quarterly dividend payers above 5.2%. Buying back into DIGS at the moment would produce a yield of under 4 percent, so I am hanging back until something changes. It does worry me when I travel to cities and see massive tower blocks going up. You look what they are going to be and it is always "luxury" student apartments. Bournemouth, Brighton, Sheffield. I am not sure how long this can go on. It's a bit different to the ten students in a terraced house of a few years ago.

Although I am not this newby, he has very relevant points. What a terrible deal, and as the money goes to Geomet, the cost is actually just 49 percent, with nothing going to EMH. The 18000 sale was mine, derisking a bit more. Seems to be a lot of people desperate to put a positive spin on a complete sell out. Wonder why? Not exactly many buys today.

Personally I am very happy with Gore Street - I would also be invested in GRID if they joined the main market, but while they are only on the Specialist Fund Segment several brokers won't allow investment, and that will always hold them back, unfortunately.

I think much of what Corbyn says is "by 2030" in the small print. I must admit I sold Shell and BP this week, just in case, but that's about as far as I'm going.

There are some queer goings on, as my late grandfather would have said in less sensitive times.
Remind me, who is that guy who keeps claiming he knows Heid and her partner ? There we will have another gang member. All for one, and each for himself.
Fortunately I sold around 15 AIM companies when I realised what was going on. Only 5 left, and never touching AIM again until the authorities take action. The Laughing Gnomes rule the AIM.

Sorry to read about the terrible experiences you have suffered maroonbells. Hope you are able to recover and perhaps move to a better, safer area. Certainly no shame in sharing.

People need to realise that the ramps/deramps designed to allow major holders out and back in are not harmless. If/when there is a placing they have done major damage to the share price which will seriously affect any future placing price. Hence millions of extra shares need to be created to raise money. I would implore anyone affected to raise the matter with DB and all relevant authorities. Just because it's waste of time doesn't mean it's pointless. If enough people put pressure on, someone will act to cover their own backs.

Worth mentioning that when I was approached by a very organised gang of tampers several years ago one of their key pieces of advice was to use an identity that suggested it belonged to a female. Apparently that gives the impression that you are honest and believable.
