You haven't answered my question! Apart from the Seatrans deal OHM are raising another £2.6m (if my memory serves me correctly) so who's going to be buying them when today's SP closed at 12.5p?

I can just about understand the Seatrans deal but why would anyone pay 21.52p for the other shares being placed when they could buy in the market today for a lot less?

I have a friend in the same line of business as INL and he is rushed off his feet at the moment. Hopefully, land prices have touched bottom and INL will benefit considerably.

I always take things as I find them so it never entered my head that you were being rude! I'm very conscious of DYOR and always attempt it but sometimes technical problems prevent me. Can I pick your brains again? I'm also invested in OHM which rose 58% today. More shares are being issued at a 153% premium which strikes me as unusual. I'm more used to shares being issued at a discount to the current SP. Any thoughts?

Just wondering when it's going to make the Top Risers list... It seems every oil company does sooner or later!

At one point OHM was up 105% this morning on no volume. I considered selling at 15p but it would now cost the same amount to get back in! I think I'll sit tight - the RNS would indicate that they are now financially secure and just need more contracts.

How unusual is it to issue shares at such a huge premium?

Sorry I'm a bit late responding to one of your earlier posts. Yes, I would agree that impatience can be very expensive. It's the most important lesson I've learned over the past 6 months. My most costly What Ifs... have been RGD (sold at 3.5p just before it rose 128%), INCH (sold at 18p just before it rose 66%) and MWG (sold at 45p just before it rose 61%). On the other hand, my patience with PXS, GKP and CFM has so far paid off.

Contrary to popular opinion I'm really not a lazy investor! I blame Technical Problems! Even with you pointing the way I struggled to read the actual relevant page. For some reason my computer was skipping between pages so I must have missed the vital information earlier when I consulted the 2008 report. Anyway, I'm delighted to find that, as of 16 March 2009, 59.33% of KIO's shares are spoken for, so to speak. Which should help the SP rise sharply when the company's potential becomes apparent to more investors.

Yes, you can come unstuck but if it's good enough for Warren Buffett etc. Although I expect he's got it wrong occasionally. More interesting is averaging up - buy a small holding and if the price starts to rise buy more. Repeat as necessary.

Bark, thank you for posting that interesting piece. As a sidenote, I've always thought the EU Fisheries Policy was stark, raving mad - basically, if you catch the wrong fish you throw them back dead. If KIO can help to cure that madness they will go far. I'm tempted to buy more! Any chance of them doing a PXS? Or is that too much to hope for?

Up 3.45% at the close of play - let's hope it's on more investors' radar since its mention in the FT. I must admit I'd never heard of Kiotech before last week. When it rose 25% on Thursday I had a look at their website and was favourably impressed and bought 16000 at less than the mid-price which was slightly odd. And another 16000 this morning at just below the offer.

After its stellar performance yesterday KIO can go back to sleep until the next set of stunning results.
