Apparently, it's all down to corruption so nothing new there. But I'm optimistic that the situation must change - can humans continue to be so stupid and short-sighted? Possibly, but I'll continue to hold ORCP as part of a Balanced Portfolio.

I've tipped this share to all my friends but I doubt they'll act on my advice which is a shame. Yes, it's high risk but if MOG finds itself sitting on 1.5bn barrels of oil off Malta it has to be a 330-bagger based on £5 per barrel. And if, before that happens, the Italian Government lifts its ban on drilling too close to the shore then the SP ought to at least double.

MOG seems to be attracting some interest today with buys far exceeding sells so I'm in at 5p.

Don't follow other people's recommendations! DYOR! RHPS is only designed to make money for someone else. But, having said that, I'm considering investing a considerable amount in MOG as I think it's grossly undervalued. If the Italian Government lift their ban then MOG's laughing but apart from that they still seem like a good investment. If you don't have the time to do your own research then why not split your money between MOG, SLE and RMP? More advice you shouldn't follow but let's see where we are in 2013?

And will RSI ever report a profit in the near future? If I'd bought sub-1p I'd've banked a profit today. The only way is down until they're inundated with contracts. Then they'll have a share placing to fund the extra work. But it could be much higher than the current SP which means RSI is a strange company.

Don't worry - it's on the way! I bought back in today at 1.5p after selling out at 2p to fund other opportunities. Expect WAS to be descended upon shortly by the pump 'n' dump brigade as so many other penny shares have been recently. But that's preferable to a long, s-l-o-w decline. Sell on the spike and buy back later.

Agreed. If LOGP doubles from 40p to 80p SEA's investment is worth 33% more than its current Mkt. Cap. And that's without any of its other interests. With all that's happening in Kurdistan does MPC have a rosy future too? Didn't SEA write off their investment in it?

Yes, I sold 4808 shares today in order to cover a position in PFD which has proved disastrous but I'm still optimistic. But SEA is still my 6th largest holding and LOGP is my 1st. Hopefully LOGP will strike oil and if they do my 2nd largest holding SLE will also rise accordingly. If it's a duster I will be researching the best park bench!

I'm still invested in SEA but only because of their holding in LOGP. Which was a good investment by SEA. But as soon as LOGP hits the jackpot and SEA follows suit (which is questionable...) I'm out!

Another 20% and it hits 3p then another 33% gets it to 4p. Hopefully by the end of next week!

Never say "never" - what about Investment Trusts trading at a premium to NAV? (Although I note your choice of the word "replicates"...) Surely SEA is a cheap way in to LOGP where 74% of its shares are "not in public hands"?

If LOGP's up 24% and SEA owns 24% then surely SEA should be up 6%?

We're certainly living in Strange Times - I suspect that today my portfolio of AIM deadbeats & no-hopers fell by less than the FTSE 100. Which is unusual - my PF normally amplifies the Footsie's gyrations - if it falls I'm usually down by even more or when it rises I'm up by even more. Sometimes I'm up a lot when it falls a little! But not often. I think the current Meerkat frenzy is somewhat manufactured - the World is not about to End. More money will be printed and Gold will inevitably increase in "value" but the real wealth will be found in companies who are sitting on valuable assets (oil) or who are involved in nascent technologies (and SEA scores on both counts).

SEA has outperformed RMP over the last day or two. In my experience the underdog often surprises... Not that SEA have an interest in a possible 20 billion barrel oilfield but they do have an interest in LOGP. Which could be a nice little earner - we shall sea. :)

I've found the latest exchanges of interest. I tell it like it is and I only wish the people who know better would tell us what they've invested in and how much they've lost or made. They never do. I was doing really well until about 2 months ago when SEA disappointed. That week was the worst for my PF so the recent shenanigans have been water off a duck's back. Delighted to hear that OilyPete has invested in RMP too.
