The MM’s will have an order to fill for the Shorters, they will set a best price to fill it whether they drop it down to shake the tree or pump it up to gain shares.

The next few weeks up to 14th July will see very volatile days like these, the long term trend is going up, that all that matters.

At current POO Tullow are in a very positive territory, with in excess of $0.7Billion Cash available this year.

If you look at the CMD presentation from November, the graph shows anything over $65 POO, shareholders will get a return.

Remember prior to end of Dec-19, the company were set on $100 Million a year dividend payments. Whether it’s a Share Buy Back or a final dividend, we are due something for the year.

Also are we still waiting for the $75 FID from the Uganda sale, as this was forecast to be received by H1?

ANSWER

The $75million payment for Uganda is due to come when the remaining Partners and the Government take Final Investment Decision (FID). As we are no longer part of the joint venture we can only observe their progress and take guidance from Total’s public disclosure which suggests FID will be taken in 2021, not necessarily in the first half of this year.

Finally the Kenya revised development plan. Rahul said that we would have the new plan by Q2. Is this still the plan? Is progress being made for the development now oil prices have performed well this year, with the outlook looking more encouraging?

ANSWER

In Kenya, you are correct that the development plan is being re-worked and Tullow and its Partners will very soon start discussions with the Government of Kenya on the revised plan which will make the project more economic at lower oil prices. The team has benefitted from lots of new data gained during the Early Oil Pilot Scheme which has positively helped the plan. We expect to be able to provide an update in the second half of the year, once it’s been shared with the Government.

Kenya will be the game changer here, Proven oil & loads of upside.
