Posted on Twitter, and apologies I don't draw dots or links to GKP but someone thinks there might be action in the background due to Shamaran kicking the deal can with the KRG and the Sarsang acquisition, down the road a little (Nov 2022).....

" It was put before the Paris-based court some years ago."
Once again, no link and I read the above passage to mean it was not current. The most recent flow of information was the Iraqi supreme Court comment and that is / was more recent & relevant.
But you are of course correct, I know nothing, like the rest of you .
Gl and enjoy ??
The supreme Court is a null and void entity and has not been created in line with their own constitution rules so other than bluster and sabre rattling it has no basis on any law in any duristiction whatsoever . If it did then the DNO and Genel shard price would have tanked following their comments
Whilst some GKP focused chat has broken out, has anyone got thoughts on the appointment of a new NED,?

Not sure I fully follow your question, but I will repost my thought I put on the GENL board:, note GENL were named as one of 4 companies where Baghdad have now declared their contract void

All is just geopolitics, Iran using their influence and leverage in Baghdad to pressure KRG, as the KRG are more "western friendly".
The only issue is if Iraq impose a ban on all oil flowing from KRG region (enforceable or not) it creates tension which is not welcome by anyone and would cause jitters in the markets. We lived through so much, I just hope it doesn't get silly and out of hand.

Macroeconomic issues will always cause jitters, especially since the cheap cash honey moon is over.
You could balance up the eye catching oil price predictions to the downside, with the previous days eye catching headline from JPmorgan which they outline an upwards risk on the PoO of $380 a barrel...in reality, something in the middle of those ranges is most likely
Yes, the "news" report raises more questions. 6 to 17 months seems an odd period as does naming three companies which will not be treated as the rest.
As always, we will be the last to know, so perhaps don't even attempt to piece anything together as it is pure conjecture.
The usual GKP fun then :)
