Hat off to him. If the government can’t invest properly then it’s better to have a billionaire with passion in this field to invest in a massive campus in Oxford, create employment jobs from trades persons to elite scientists, university grads and so much more all funded by him on british soil. AI did start by saying it is a big possibility that he could bid.

We have to wait and see Jimzi, we can speculate all we like but in the mean time I would like the share price to get a bit higher before any possibles emerge. 😊

Watched the share holder update nothing really more that could be added that was not already in the RNS. Can't quite believe the amount of investors asking about the share price and what are they going to do about it! All I can say is Mark and Bill (non exc)were very patient with acknowledging the same question over and over again.

The only thing that I would love to know (I did presubmit this question but not read) is knowing if this delay in equipment arriving to fix the residual mud from drilling and transformer is the same for all hire companies or is it a budget restraint that dictates having to wait. Hunting a British company, has plants all over and do have the equipment on their website. Transformers are listed on several European company sites. Just curious to know.

My comments are extracted from the RNS certainly not me knowing more than the oil and gas experts on permitting which in Selva are Po Valley Energy not HEYCO. If you read the rns you will see it’s the broader selva development program , casale guida north, 1d south and riccardina selva malvezzi east wells . that the EIA revisions have been requested by MASE. There is a whole paragraph on it, their words not mine.

I think Mark is doing the best he can it’s a tough industry to be in. Just unfortunate that all these hiccups are all coming at once. Frustrating for all concerned.

I admire your optimism, unfortunately in July El Rometral in southern spain shut down; has not been producing since 1 July due to transformer problems and no firm date to deliver a new transformer unit. Italy - permitting studies not going to plan due to flooding risk and requesting of moving proposed well sites. Sounds like a very drawn out affair. There is a little bit of steady production at Podere Maura-1 well at selva though 😊 As you mention this is going to be a very long wait for return. I think poor old Mark will have retired by then or had a nervous break down poor chap. Still could be worse if it had been off shore platforms I guess. Wait and see.

Trump is Trump and who knows what he will do next but the last investors presentation I saw of oxford nanopore they were not unduly worried by this as their funding from America is fairly low in percentage terms if my memory serves me correctly I think it was 15%.

I just think having Larry on board is going to give ON lots of other markets to target and with their labs so close to the campus it’s just going to generate a lot of cross over advantages in addition to having Oracle part of their research data collection. It is refreshing to see a billionaire raise and do so much good with his money and enthusiasm for the planet. EIT is a non profiting enterprise.

A link for those pi that are not aware of Larry Ellisons work within the U.K.

He has help finance this campus in Oxford as well as set it up with British talented scientists/ Oxford university. He is spending a lot of time in the U.k. over seeing this with EIT president, Dr Bell. This is presenting a lot of employment for this area for the U.K. on top of ground breaking science. The share price movement is reflecting this of late. My opinion of course and as always DYOR .

Larry Ellison is the second richest man in the world so I think his pockets are well deep enough! My take on it is that he has built a large stake to prevent a low cost takeover. If you read deeper the company he founded, The Oracle , is providing the data analysis for Oxford. Analysts and investors view his stake mainly as a way to prevent low-cost takeovers or exert influence over major corporate actions, rather than signaling preparations to take control of the company . Have just bought in here after watching the company over the past few weeks, having seen it on Vox investing podcast. Despite the pushback in expected profit for 2025 due to longer then expected contract commencement I think this is going to do well for 2026 going by their order book.

I’ve just listened to the JW webcast with both CEO and CFO. This is available on their website recorded on 14/2 The q & a at the end was from a lot of big investment houses JP morgan etc. I would recommend sparing the time to listen to it. What I took away from it is that until Deloitte finish the review a lot of answers could not be given These include using pension surplus bank lending for 2026. I think until deloitte produce the final review the share price will be all over the place and personal I think it should be suspended until deloitte publish the conclusion for JD .

A big mistake to have half released the review . Should have waited despite market pressure for its release. IMO.

If what they tell you in the webcast is valid then I can see a future for this company but maybe others may not see it like that.
