DaKat, the company has been crystal clear with regard to what's happening and are getting on with the job of delivering the milestones as set out in the funding agreement. This isn't exciting stuff from a retail investors point of view, but it's absolutely essential work. In effect, the workflow on Cascabel is cast in stone, so I'm not expecting much else to emerge other than what's been agreed with FN and the government.

Having said that, we could certainly do with some news about our other prospects, and it's to be hoped SC has been working on that issue.

It doesn't matter which bb you read on this site, you'll see constant demands for more and more major announcements - it's like an addictive drug - but the fact is, companies don't work like that. The vast majority of the time is spent on getting on with the work in hand, and since all of us have spent the majority of our lives working for companies, we will recognise the truth in this. Eloro, the point of my original post was partly tongue-in-cheek, but it was also to point out that mining is a risky business and that the mining companies have to embrace that risk if they want to remain in business.

From my point of view I see our main risk as being the failure of the company to deliver rather than governmental issues. That is most certainly not to say that it'll be plain sailing with the government, but we're in a good position with them at the moment and even if Nobby loses, his main contender is apparently also pro-mining. The politicians know how important mining is for the future of their country and only an idiot would think they could develop a mine themselves.
