DM, yes, I also noticed the shift from ' friendly merger' to 'acquisition'. Technically it is an acquisition, but the reality is somewhat different and is much more akin to a reverse takeover.

I think it's fair to say Fawzi is normally pretty good at replying promptly to emails. I sent him one the other day asking when we could expect an update on the progress of the SR, or a timeline for its conclusion. I haven't received a reply.
Two options; he's on holiday, or it's a question they don't wish to answer, which of course begs the question, why not?
Separately, CGP didn't produce a prospectus, they issued an Information Circular which specifically related to the terms of the merger - they are not the same things.
Our Prospectus should be a description of the merged business with accompanying pro-forma financials and strategic direction etc. I doubt very much it will be a short document as its intention is to provide full information about the company to the market . In other words, it's akin to the sort of thing you see when a company first floats and as such is an investment proposition.

MR, perhaps one day you'll actually have something useful or interesting to say about the company rather than simply telling us how brilliant you are. I won't be holding my breath.

The only unanswered question relates to how invested the board is in Sangha's comments? On the face of it you'd assume they were fully behind this strategy and perhaps for the first time in ages, the board is united and pulling in the same direction. We've had more than enough boardroom rucks - they now need to be clear and unambiguous and to deliver on their promises; and that doesn't involve any more tosh about block cave mining, $1bn all lined-up etc, etc.

Q, as you know, that's not what the scope of the SR actually says. It includes 'advancing Cascabel' (which is ambiguous to say the least), but you mustn't ignore what else the RNS said.

DBW, I agree that he appears to have completely revised his thinking and is now aligned with us. The problem was that for a few years he veered away from the original strategy and this has cost us three years of wasted time, money and dilution. It cost him his job and reputation.
As far as I'm aware, the only person on here to have met him is Jerry, who found him to be rude and arrogant. The rest of us base our opinions upon whether he's singing from the same hymn sheet.

I'm certain you lot are all far too intelligent to read the Daily Mail, but in today's edition there's a two page spread on the realities of owning an electric car - and it isn't good news.
