If one piece of small sensible advice can get you on the road to riches then I'd be happy cos I could have done the same in many shares had I listened to my own advice rather than break my rules through greed of getting rich quick.

Somebody gave advice earlier about top slicing. That is great advice and something I intended to do years ago but got greedy and then started losing the lot. This is all I have left from a considerable investment years ago 600k shares left in oilex. close to a penny all you small guys can slice some and take a free ride, if it then goes upp more you are still a winner, if it goes down you lose nothing and still can buy more or something else if you choose.

For the small investor or anyone interested.
Back in the day leading up to a fully funded drill (77h) there were around 30% shares in issue compared to todays shares in issue.
Back in that day share base price was around 4p. rising to 12p when flare was lit at 77h.
You can do your own maths from this but bear in mind the following key facts.
4p to 12p was based on 45% (could we own 100% ?)
Also there was no infrastructure/pipeline to supply local grid at cambay (there is now) at that point and no poc well (77h)

Also, and this is mho, I believe 77h and 73, maybe others too can be returned to some form of production.

Therefore mho is base sp should be around 1 to 1.2p on 45% and double that should it look like we get 100% of cambay. get a drill sorted and imminent then you see it rising another 50 or 60%

have successful phases of drill then see it double again. should it be a highly successful drill then quadruple again, do your own maths, GLA

But advice for the little guy which was always my intention (but got greedy) when I had an average ( not much dissimilar to now lol) in 3p's and it hit 7 and I did not follow the rule.
Splice, take half your take money back, that way if it went to zero or 10% in a shot you lost half.
if you have doubled you will only be taking half profit and leaving the other half to ride with your investment. Therefor if it went up another 50% in time you can easily take the rest of your stake back and whatever is riding is so much more than your initial investment which you now have back. Lots of free shares for the future and find anothert with the old money to do same again. Yes, I broke the plan and became broke lol

Your stop losses, no need to have one at mo, there may be a shake as shres must be few in bank for choppers. they need more for next leg up inmho to keep their gains going daily. Make them pay, not allow you to get dumped out

Yes but when mm's and brokers ( know what is going on (trust me they know well before you or there would be no AIM)they load up/soak up cheap. Then you will be buying shares as expensive as they can push it until they need more. How do you think they make money, are rich, never go broke etc etc etc when the likes of us do.

An aim market does not value assets in share price. MM's, Brokers, and the dirty fingered dictate the sp. The asset value only comes into a share like this when a bid or money is in spotlight. YOU know that only too well. You have been on and off this BB (many years) long enough to know what actual assets oilex are sat on and what they spent accruing such.
