There are two sides to the issue.
There's the distribution side and then there's the returns side.
The return side could be resolved in the short to medium term. The dresses seemed to be the main issue there.
In relation to distribution it was mentioned they were looking at taking expedited measures to resolve the issues. Even if they are temporary measures while a more permanent measure is in place.
John Lewis I can't comment on and don't know enough about. Although same industry I wouldn't go far as a direct comparison in both the issues and the solution.
I'm afraid I can't comment on cash generation post capex either. Feel free to put your figures out there for discussion.

I think you'll find despite the temporary issues the sp is well over sold in comparison to the revised figures.
