Agreed. Yesterdays rns reminds me of the one we had a month ago (where we had a 40-50% drop on release) only for the following day to have a 100% rise - mm’s manipulation at their best. We could easily be sat at 2p and most of us would complain were too cheap, should be higher etc etc the fact we still languish around a penny is crazy. Instead of acknowledging the strength of yesterdays update, which once again proved the competence of our relatively new team in operating the mine more efficiently and identifying a number of issues that will be addressed, issues our previous management team didnt really have a clue about. Instead of acknowledging the above and having a solid sp performing day, we got the wrong side of the aim coin flip. Yet today only 24h later we are again sat with ask above 1p. Its just a tactic being used to keep the price as low as possible for as long as possible (i believe, to pick up ruffer shares as cheap as possible).

We’re approx 230km north of where the earthquake hit, were good in that respect. Prayers are with those affected

Tomorrow may be the last chance pi’s have to take or add to their position here, quartely results due next week and imo they’l show a steady increase in production. News of debt restructuring is also due next week if the option to extend for another month (which imo will be the case) isn’t triggered. Current price is a steal considering risk v reward / DB has done a great job since hes arrived seeing us through rocky waters, were not quite on shore but will be very soon. Extremely hard to buy when this moves, which is good for us holders. Gla

Feels weird being away and not ideal with the stock market closing at 11.30pm local time (Guangzhou) haha Smart money loading up here, life changing opportunity for those buying in at this level and having the patience to hold. I’ve accumulated 8m over the past 6 months and still not satisfied with them, such is the opportunity here. Sentiment here has changed, it wont be long until its reflected in the sp. Im off to China in the morning, going to see what the Canton fair has to offer. We would be pmac if it wasnt for ruffer taking the price down from 0.85 to 0.70 before the recent rise. Expected and predicted a 30 odd % rise the day of nomad confirmation and we’ve got it. For what its worth if were at current levels when the quarter results come i anticipate a sp of 1.5-1.7 on arrival. As annoying as ruffer sells are every 1m sell that pops up is good news, its closer to us getting rid of them (for those that aren’t aware, ruffer are leaving the aim market and have sold their investments across the board not only here at mtl). Wont be long before they’re gone and again, that would be welcome news. Im sure the lth dont mind them selling at this point, it allows us to build and build at current lows. At current rate, they may well have finished up selling before quartely report arrival.

I believe we’l see increased production figures within quartely report, the basis of them figures will form the restructuring agreement (These figures are from Jan-March). April/May/ and come June we will be running close to 100% as thats the target, thats what our ceo has set as a benchmark when liaising with institutional investors ‘confident of turning things around, and doing so quickly’. I believe him. With a little patience all will be rewarded, were not talking years or months here. Were talking days away from quartely report and weeks from a new agreement. That should earn everyone a pretty penny or 2 having invested at these bargains, then the big boys will continue to hold through June/July and take the cream. Once a restructuring agreements in place, you can bet your house directors will be buying in (they’re not allowed to right now) - we had them buying a quarter of a million quid at 5p - they’re gonna have a field day at 2-3p or whatever it is once agreements confirmed.

Lee fully agreed mate, i have 2k coming in tomorrow and going to buy what i can. May wait until the afternoon to add incase we have weak hands selling. I’ve seen a lot of decent buying the past week and majority of the sells have come from the 1m seller (which we all should hope is Ruffer). Im of the opinion we get a Monday rns too, early next week is a certainty imo. Hopefully those that are in baring the ‘risk’ right now dont sell for pittance, we have plenty of news inbound that should see this return to fair value in the short term. Gla

Psssht someone using the wrong broker (delayed 1m buy just popped up) - thats nasty whoever that was having to pay 10% more than others just because of who you buy your shares through.

Its because bids at 0.6 and ask at 0.7 so anything below 0.65 will show as a sell. The reason a false spread is created is to manipulate (in this case into selling) - mm’s been taking shares all day and would’ve carried on doing so given the chance (not typical behaviour given ‘suspension’ looming) Hopefully we get confirmation in the morning, if not it’l defo come early next week. Lets see if shares are suspended without a morning rns (i bet 8million shares their not). Gla

NN we have a 1m seller kicking about last few days, hoping its ruffer as would be great to get rid of them before we start climbing. Your question regarding nomad is a good one, advanced discussions typically means its almost over the line more so in MTL case as they sparsely use such terms and when they do they’ve backed them up. Personally i believe nomad’s done and dusted, just a case of notifying the market. Why does it take so long? Your guess is as good as mine, what i do know is with previous deadlines the few days before they expire you get worried pi’s (with good reason) questioning timings etc with threat of default looming if them deadlines werent met and boom we get our rns confirming all is good. The same will happen here.

I wouldnt be suprised if one came before Friday or Friday afternoon. The past few months, we’ve had a number of deadlines to meet all of which were met and communicated to shareholders in a timely manner, nearly all went ‘down to the wire’ in terms of timing and in one or 2 cases we were notified a day or so after deadline passed. All it means is our guys in charge like to take as much time needed in order to get the right ‘deal’ for us the shareholders, so far imo they’ve done a sterling job buying time with the banks in order to reach a sensible agreement, one we can afford instead of having our pants down. Those with conspiracy theories about why a nomad hasnt been notified clearly have a different agenda (shorting or cheaper entry) and will spout any crap to give their agenda some weight. Im assuming the weak holders they were targeting have already sold and those in at this point believe in the team, have weighed up the risk v reward and invested accordingly. So to those looking for cheaper entries, get in now before its too late. The paper exercise will be completed v soon. Like Lee i believe production has been steadily ramped up the last few months, not long before the quarterly report to find out and then the real fireworks start. Check out the MTL website main page, was only updated with them points around 2 weeks ago. Conspiracies aside, if you look at the price and recent developments here you’l know and understand just how ridiculously cheap the share price is.
