SP is creating a new support as it bounces around 6-10p the last few weeks. This and background buying/selling are reasons price is being manipulated, clear for all to see.

Within 150k worth of share trades the buy price went from 6.7 to negotiated trade at 7.5p (less than 10 grands worth of trades).

Plenty of funding options per conversations held at AGM - everyone here assumes Tang takes this up himself hence a discount, what if it’s someone Government or China affiliated taking it? Definitely won’t be a discount offered there boys…and the price will rocket!!

With us being so close to transformational news anything is possible and a strategy of being ‘in’ at the pennies while awaiting pounds feels like the right one for me!

YKIR we’ve known about fundraise for months, the SP is creating support at 6p area and has been for weeks. If you’re a believer and have sold your full holding while in this trading zone for short term gains, don’t be foolish and sit out while we approach bottom of the zone.

The same way they’ve moved it down on little, the same way they’ll take it back up on the same as they have done previous 3 times.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by GCM Resources and Power Construction Corporation of China. The company's ownership stake in the project stands as 80% and 20% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel will be procured from Phulbari coal mine.

The thermal power project will consists of 2 turbines each with 1,000 MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.

Contractors involved

Power Construction Corporation of China is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the coal fired power project.

Environmental groups and groups such as the link you posted are independent groups and likely directly affected which is why they’re always so gung ho in their approach. They don’t reflect govt opinion in the slightest.

Take a look at some of the recent news relating to GOVT opinion:

1. State Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that coal mining will be done by ensuring underground water management. Rehabilitation and employment of the locals will also be ensured. He said that if there is a coal mine in that region, crop production will decrease by BDT 5 thousand crore annually. On the contrary, coal worth about BDT 70 thousand crore will have to be imported in the future.”

“It is possible to extract coal from this mine by the open pit method. This mining license is now in the hands of the multinational company GCM. A majority stake in GCM is said to be owned by a Chinese company. GCM has submitted a full feasibility study on the mine development to the government.”

2. 'State Minister for Power, Energy & Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has recently said that it is not possible to leave so much coal underground and import it. “Sooner or later, we will have to extract coal locally. For this, local people will be paid adequate compensation.”Hydrocarbon unit recently told Energy Division that Fulbari holds $83 billion worth of coal and $17 billion worth of other resources.

3. "BBC Bangla has learned from the Ministry of Energy that a proposal based on various surveys and feasibility studies conducted in the country's coal mines will be presented to the Prime Minister by "APRIL" and approval will be sought."

4. State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid recently told a BBC interview he is putting forward a recommendation for open-pit coal mining (Phulbari is the only option for open-pit)
