Gordon Bhandut field is a weird one, in 2016 they started producing oil from here for the first time and the SP went from 0.6 to 1.2p on the back of that news, it looks like GSPC stopped paying towards their share of the costs after initially coughing up £35k owing £50k here in cash calls and the work that was happening here stopped from progressing.
Searching for info on the Bhandut field i’ve come across a couple of articles stating its rich in oil and there have been multiple interested parties wanting to complete a full buyout since 2017 however at first gspc wouldn’t entertain selling their stake in it (typical) until recently and nobody would want them as a partner.
With them now wanting to sell their stake, going off the last quarterly rns it looks like whoever was interested to buy their 60% also wants to take oex 40%.
What its worth, i dont know but its definitely worth something with gspc not wanting to part with it and looking at articles from 2016 it was hyped up a fair bit (oex share price doubling to 1.2p on news from bhandut).
