I'm starting to worry slightly, especially with May fast approaching. I just don't have the confidence that they can get this over the line anymore. It has taken an incredibly long time.

Clearly stake building behind the scenes here. It's interesting to watch and somebody is positioning themselves very well for the next 6 months. 125 is very low... The company have certainly been dealt a fair and severe punishment so far with the wiping out of over 90% of their value. I can't see it fully recovering that loss but even if this recovers half of the loss it would be a great result for anyone buying in at these levels. Lets get the FCA out of the way first and then see where we stand.

I hope he manages to get his head down on the flight. Poor fella needs a rest.

Hi Uncanny - I don't think their salaries are particularly huge. From my own perspective, I think the issue is that they are being handsomely remunerated for gross under-performance. Generally, people like that are weeded out of companies when they are employees but GM and Co have managed to avoid that so far. interesting to see if/how long that will last.

Hi Angela - welcome. The answer to your example is no. However, what is the relevance? That is not what has happened here. There has been years and years of mismanagement here. The BOD are to blame - it baffles me how anybody could think otherwise.

When a share price consistently falls then it is simply the fault of the BOD. Aim is a cesspit, we all know that... How come Val is performing so much worse than the average Aim investment? It is simply the BOD, they are painfully bad at what they do. To expect people to trade is an odd position. I could be trading on Flybe right now if we want - is the market to blame for their situation or is it the BOD? I don't want to trade, I want to invest as do most holders here.

Uncanny - He didn't shoot himself int he foot at all. In the time period between him saying that and today he has managed to get two placings away. He has bought himself more time (and therefore money). He just managed to keep people on the hook until the end of Q1. It stopped the backlash that we are seeing now from happening a month or two earlier. All he needs to do now is release an RNS saying that the talks are not just advanced but VERY advanced. We are looking towards end of Q2 but due to the nature of discussions nothing can be guaranteed. Then Freddie and co will pipe up saying, oh what is another 4 weeks? Rise and repeat. As I have said all along, if GM and co know how to do one thing it is squeeze money out of chumps.

Hi Freddie. I'm afraid that is a misdirection. I don't have a problem with the potential of Valirx... In fact, quite the opposite. This is why I have such a problem with the BOD. Not only are they stifling the potential they are doing it genuine harm. I also feel that your support (or lack of condemnation) of the BOD is doing harm also. (when I say YOU I of course mean people that share your view, I don't think one SH can effect the price here as you seem to be suggesting re ValJu)

the accounting issues seem to be down to incompetence rather than fraudulence so the repercussions should be fairly minimal. As you say White Shark, the investigation seems to be priced in so once it is over I would like this to be a realistic minimum of £3.

Freddie- I can't believe you can be so deluded. You seem to want to blame absolutely everybody except for the BOD. Are you GM's PA?

Uncanny - honestly mate, if you could only see some of the replies you get from the BOD then you'd understand. They are appalling. A "witchhunt" is exactly what they need and it is not before time! They have had ample opportunity to do things the easy way. Sometimes you need to force people's hand to stop them treating you like dirt.

I appreciate that the compounds may be worth big money should they be successful. However, the serious problem is that there is a constant battle with the people in charge because they are continuously killing value. A £25-50m deal for 401 would be great but the cause to us as shareholders just gets worse and worse and worse every time the BOD take it upon themselves to issue even more shares as rock bottom prices. What is the point in taking on all the risk when the reward is slashed every couple of months.

I think this BOD have really sealed their fate now. I’m so glad shareholders finally seem to have woken up to the fact that these guys are seriously inept and, not only that, arrogant people too. They had ample opportunity to avoid being thrown off the board but their own arrogance has led to this being a possibility. I really hope it happens.

If you contact GM he is generally of the opinion that shareholders have done alright out of the company. Basically, what he means is... the horrendous placing that he has done has created a significant amount of money for those behind the scenes that take part and forward sell. Ultimately, he doesn't care what happens to the "second hand investors" and is happy for his company to be taken advantage of as long as his salary is guaranteed. I suppose he's a sensible guy really. Absolutely devoid of morals but sensible nonetheless.

Hi Valju - Make sure you are aware that there is likely to be a spy in the camp. No way to weed them out at this initial stage but I wouldn't take anyone at face value as I'm sure you already know.

If you read yesterday's RNS and then decide to buy some more shares then, quite frankly, you deserve everything you get. Some people won't learn and can't be told. You may as well go to the casino, your odds of success are significantly higher which is the damning truth.

Luigi - They have stopped mentioning 401 in their placing RNSs as they want to give the illusion that it is taken care of by the bumper deal that is just around the corner. It is just one of the examples of the nudge, nudge, wink, wink tactics. The whole thing is a house of cards and there is going to be a big gust that comes along at some point..

ed44 - can't you just trade on their market and take advantage? There must surely be a way.

I wasn't asking what the actual definition was lol. I mean it could be absolutely anything.
