From the research done on here and from articles in the press - what I pick up from that is that GM is a CEO who demonstrates integrity and transparency and once he is in a position to share anything with us he will - he is not going to put himself in a position as noted "hype without substance will always end up in misery”.- GM has also acknowledge PR could be much better and will be sorted in time.
Taken from one of Porky's posts last night:
GM said to me recently to quote: -
“We are building the foundations for a significant diagnostics business by ensuring we deliver performance, create expectations that can be realised and not to ramp the business. I know many companies that may have a different philosophy but in my experience hype without substance will always end up in misery”.
“Can we improve communications? Yes, and we will do so in time but not without ensuring the business continues to deliver first”.
“Junior markets are sentiment led and despite fundamentals can react irrationally as we are seeing currently with the Share Price. IMO eventually sentiment will catch up with fundamentals. If they do not, then we can leverage these fundamentals in a different way to address the fickle nature of junior markets”.

Contract with UK Department for Health and Social Care
Novacyt continues to support the NHS as part of a contract struck in September 2020 with the UK Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) for the supply of COVID-19 testing products for up to six months. The initial phase involved the deployment of PCR instruments, related kits and support services with a minimum value of £150m for the first 14 weeks.
The second element of this phase would be to extend supply by a further
10 weeks which we expect could generate a further £100m of revenue. Novacyt is
currently in active discussions with the DHSC to extend this phase of the contract.
My question is why would GM make comments as noted by Porky and also why would he allow the comments on the DHSC contract to even be included in the brokers update if he had any indication that there was no hope of a positive outcome?
There are so many de-rampers appearing on here at the moment gloating about the our SP but we must remember that anyone looking to invest in Nova will be checking out the posts here so I would ask that those of us LTH Please DO NOT keep giving these de-rampers a platform and airtime - Please just ignore them and keep promoting Nova in a positive way regardless of how you are feeling otherwise it will be nothing but off putting for any future investors and they will quickly move on elsewhere!
