NIM is a bit tight to absorb a dividend.. . fitzgeralds news clip is hard to decipher.. what they mean by .25..?

..ECB has a meeting next week.. jan 19 regarding rates.... if interest rates are kept low it could mean the eu/usd at. 1.047 on the lower range.. if the news implies a probability of higher rates it could lead towards a higher range of 1.079... since trumpo won the elections.. stock markets have shot up.. no real sign cooling. .. the dax.. ftse ... dow have gone to record highs.. .. good summary .. Goodbody more bullish.. they had been negative and neutral for some time.. bank earnings in NY were the news of the day.. BOI is much different than NY banks.. CET is much higher.. some of these NY banks have CET which is lower than reported.. Don't expect a dividend this year.. NIM would probably have to be higher, and other improvements in non performing assets.. Results are about 5 to 6 weeks away.. 0.28 is a good target level..

.. currencies GBPUSD EURUSD .. oil this is tricky.. the symbol changes ever month. .. one letter changes every month.. like the alphabet.. CLG17.NYM for february the latest symbol used is avalaible at a web site that deals with oil www.oilprice.com i dont deal with option.. prefer to just pick a decent , well managed oil stock and hold.. one that preferably pays a dividend.. .. hopefully bkir will have some news regarding the ..dividend.. plans for 2017.. that would be positive..

.. if you have an iphone.. accumulate the symbols in 'stocks' much easier.. i keep a watch out for some bank stocks.. currencies.. and oil.. 2 sectors for 2017 i predict are banking and oil.. and keep a watch on the euro and the £..

.. earnings are not that far away.. 7 - 8 weeks.. Db German bank was up 6% today.. some banks did not move at all like BBVA.. but then Bkir and Db have taken a beating this year.. bkir has a market value of 8.5b € so it has good upside..

.. looking back 2016 this stock should have never gone to the .16 level.. last year at about this time it was in the 0.33 level.. this would be a good target level to recover.. earnings should be good this year.. same as past 2 years.. 1b net earnings.. NIM should do better than 2.20's level.. interest rates are slowly increasing.. the FED increases of 0.25 affect NIM fairly fast.. so this would allow for dividends very soon.. maybe 2017.. good luck to all..!
