Not doubting lithium will always be used in the green revolution.
Zulu as an African hard rock conventional mine with an enormous environmental footprint will not be looked upon a a favoured supplier.
Germany is going "geothermal",it is estimated that this process has the capacity to service all of the countries lithium requirements.
Recycling of the 3 major components has attracted massive investment as geopolitics and environmental issues take president in the supply chain.
Lithium mines within borders--now becoming viable both economically and environmentally.
Whereas I do think the EU statement about being self sufficient in lithium by 2025 is a little ambitious millions of euros is being spent to make it so,this is also being mirrored in USA.
The world is seeking an alternative to lithium..it will come.
Necessity is the mother of invention.

I am not attempted to "de-ramp"there is no benefit at all.
This is a BB,if I don't like the direction being taken by the company then surely,as adults ,I have the right to express my views and concerns.
I do try very hard not to attack posters for their views and the comments I do make can usually be backed up by research,academic papers etc.
We differ on our views..just leave it at that.

Altag-I thought I had covered this in previous posts.
I was "ALL GEORGE" ,Prem future,JV outlook...then came the RNS .
One can clearly split Prem into two:
The SP-I still think buying under 30 was good ,the SP has always been wild and free and will afford reasonable margins if traded.
Company management-this is a different ball game and one where I have issues with the company.
A good investment--possibly
A great investment..not under current conditions

Welshy69--not at all,just taking an alternative view and calling upon my years and years of experience as a shareholder in Prem.
And yes the figures are impressive,they were impressive last year,the year before that and the year before that.
Is George capable of overseeing such a task 20million plus has been dropped into RHA !!
We have put a substantial amount of money into MNH--did Roach see any accounts..NO we gave the company over a million based upon the valuation of plant.
MNH was going to save Prem,it was going to be the cash revenue that aided the progress of Premier Africa.
Where is the return on the investment ?
And whilst the industrial world is begging for REE why is our mine dormant??
Zulu is a great asset,it should have been developed 4 years ago.
IMO the record of exploiting our assets is VERY poor and can see that the same will continue with Zulu.
Yes the SP should rise in advance of next RNS..pay day.
It will take 3-4 years to get the mine into continued production,mark my words.the environmental and geopolitical pressure
will greatly suppress the figures you are currently lapping up.
The world is changing folks faster than most can imagine.

Yes I have had a change of opinion and this is the reason.

Premier's prospects are today fundamentally different. And whereas the Board was of the view historically that on grant of the EPO, development of Zulu would almost certainly follow a path of ultimate joint venture development with a surrender of a significant direct equity stake in Zulu, Premier's present market value suggests that retention of 100% of Zulu is now potentially a better option.

I disagree with the RNS statement and have fully explained why.

I am entitled to my views,my opinions and my evaluations.

Bet3990--yes it is quite exceptional how the price has risen.

The question is..do you see the same rate of increase month in month out for the following 3 ..4 years .

iky786--it will ,of course,be a valuable asset and the demand for high grade lithium will always be on the market.
IMO waiting 14 months for a DFS report then a further two years to bring the mine into production--Prem will have missed the boat.
The world wants to bring lithium production "in house" ..all about geopolitics,security of supply and clean GREEN lithium.
If the CEO had started Zulu development 3..4 years ago and we could sell lithium today it would be fantastic.
It is a good mine,it has it's place but not as important as many believe
