The Savings and Investments Union aims to improve the channelling of these savings into productive investments, unlocking the full potential of the bloc's capital markets.

The new customs ship “Rügen” was officially christened and put into service today in Stralsund. Aboard the largest ship in the German customs fleet, four mtu gas engines from Rolls-Royce provide propulsion and two more generate electricity.

The President of the Generalzolldirektion (German Customs Administration), Dr. Armin Rolfink, emphasized: “With the commissioning of the ‘Rügen’, we are setting an important milestone for the strengthening and, at the same time, sustainable modernization of our customs fleet. This state-of-the-art customs vessel combines high performance with innovative and environmentally conscious technology, which will enable us to carry out our important customs duties at sea even more efficiently in the future.”

Delegates from State Utility Commissions of Florida, Washington, Virginia as well as Utah, and Indiana Office of Energy Development heard how Rolls-Royce SMR’s ‘factory-built’ nuclear power plant uses a modularised construction and assembly approach to reduce the time and cost of SMR deployment around the globe for a range of applications.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says Donald Trump is "supportive" of the AUKUS alliance, after Australia sent a $US500 million ($798 million) payment to Washington as part of it.

Mr Hegseth made the comments at the Pentagon on Friday, local time, as he met with Australia's Defence Minister Richard Marles.

On a training exercise from its home port in Guam, USS Minnesota is a forerunner to four Virginia class submarines that will be hosted at a Western Australian naval base from 2027, under the AUKUS partnership to transfer nuclear submarine capability to Australia.

This with continued share buy backs will skyrocket dividends to $0.50 per share and $10 would be a dream when this share price skyrocket to $30 pluses.....

Just buy the dips & hold. I don't see anyone building these engines and smr tech in another 20 years atleast and that gives us the pricing power to get huge profit margins. With 0 debt....

They have received funds from the UK for a mini nuclear reactor for the moon .

Rolls Royce currently has a factory making working prototypes.
