Cash is clearly an asset. But unlike say a building or a factory it is just a rapidly depleting asset when it's held by a fledgling mining company, or rather a fledgling company that is hoping to be a mining company.

I wonder how much of that cash has already been spent or earmarked for investments in other fledgling wannabe mining companies.
