I had pegged Sinopec Dongsheng Petroleum (Mongolia) Co as the front runner JV/buy out favourite, in light of new findings i think i would now see ONGC/OVL as the favourite, HUGE.

H2 fact, not NEG fiction, what was really said, check the LSE interview, MB actually said that at 30 bbl/d H2 was marginally commercial during the winter months, hence its commercial during the summer months, I would assume this is due to the costs of keeping our waxy oil hot and less viscous so it will pump easier during the winter months, will be very interesting to see the production rates after acidizing which can improve production by a factor of x10, that might be a bit much to hope for, I would be very happy with 150 bopd.

My first question: Would MATAD agree that Petro China have intentionally tried to starve us of working capital and ifso are MATAD also aware of stock BASHER activities on the various investor chat platforms, might the company consider taking these issues forward on behalf of its investors and make an official complaint to the FCA.

Would be a massive kick in the teeth to Petro China to have ONGC as their neighbour in the TAMSAG basin.

ManxK, very DOABLE other than i doubt Heron could ever supply the 30,000 bopd the refinery needs, but we are more than happy to supply all we can.

Question Is, was Mongolia’s plan always to bring India’s ONGC/OVL in all along, have MATAD been used to explore and find the oilfields, this would explain the wildcats, was MB / MATAD part of this master plan, MB is known for being an explorer, will we partner/JV with ONGC/OVL or will they buy our Heron field outright, it really is the only known untapped oilfield that can supply the oil in the quantity the refinery will need.

Mongolias new oil refinery which is being built by India has been granted special permission to engage in petroleum exploration and exploitation, see link below, new info i posted yesterday regards Indian Oilco ONGC lining up to supply oil for the refinery with specific focus on exploring oil and gas opportunities in Mongolia, with a possible partnership for upstream growth, pieces of the jigsaw all coming together.
