ifonly, if it plays out the same as the last two days you might see low 580s early Tuesday, possibly more, may even be some good news over the weekend, who knows, its certainly a ***** of a share.

Look at oil price, look at oil company share prices the last few days, add the fact SFO unknown outcome for PFC and no large contracts won for some time, PFC rose with the oil price, just not as fast as the oil companies. The last couple of days its fallen, again not as fast as the oil companies. DYOR but it would be a very brave person to buy into PFC right now especially with the shorts increasing, my thoughts only.

Shorts increasing, oil price decreasing, oil shares being tanked, its not rocket science to work out that PFC price will also fall.

Based on oil down & oil shares down again today and this looking like a re-run of yesterday and it being Friday i am out, though quite sure i will be in again very soon, who knows where this share will go, a wee profit is better than no profit. That said it appears to be holding its own right now. Good luck to those holding.

Not advising you but i would wait and see what tomorrow brings, things might be clearer but off course they could be worse, PFC started today ok, good luck with whatever you decide.

SFO are off course the joker in the pack and we have no idea why the shorts are increasing, as always its a gamble, have shorts increased due to the price drop or because they know something about the SFO we dont, who can say for sure. i am basing my post below on shorts increase due to the price drop only, as you say and i said yesterday i would not want to be holding if SFO announced charges, at present i am in for �10k bought yesterday for 5.73, its an amount i am "happy" to hold if needs must, it also leaves me plenty to average down so my opinion is based on my own circumstances only. The bad news is above, good news there "must" be a reasonable contract out there someplace plus i do see Wood Group as a possible buyer, but its all guess work.

ifonly: when have you ever heard me be anything other than positive regards PFC :), my view only but today could have been a lot worse and i have a warm feeling about tomorrow, only negatives are SFO and hopefully there is no bad news to come from them anytime soon, the other negative being its been a while since a reasonable sized contact win, cant see any reason this should not return to 600 or close soon, i stress this is my view only.

Oil down, ENQ down 11.7%, Tullow down 5.6%, Premier down 5%, even BP down 1.82%, well done PFC only 0.17%, onwards and upwards, 700p tomorrow so i hear.

On the bright side this is hanging in quite well compared to many other oil prices, for now anyway.

As many have said previously, not a share for the faint hearted, hopefully this will fly upwards today, guess its a case of wait see. GLA

I would agree its a great share, but would disagree the way your figures are presented and my heads to numb to go back over more figures today but to explain, if your figures were calculated as follows i think it would be a different picture. 6 to 12 months ago 6 months to 1 month ago 1 month to 1 week ago 1 week to present. and if we stretched the timescale to 15 months ago (pre SFO announcement) this would also change the figures dramatically due to the fact you started the figures from PFC bottom point, either way, hopefully onwards and upwards tomorrow and the following days, got to get ifonly his money back.

Ifonly, you bought 3rd of May same day i did, from memory you bought �18k around the 607 price, at the time you said you would sell when it hit 650, well it did and you did not sell, i bought an hour after you at 599 and sold at 651, i used to hold hoping for the "big" score but got fed up watching it go up then back down, not saying your wrong and i am right but if you had stuck to your guns and sold at 650 ................ well thats history now. As of 4.27 i am back in with a tentative 1740 shares, just hoping i wake up tomorrow with a better feeling, GLA

If retraces are healthy then i agree PFC look very healthy today, however i would take with a pinch of salt anything anapa says, he has stated several times that PFC share price rose in previous years with divi reinvestment, it has not, yesterday around 13.30 ish he stated it was spiking upwards and ready to break out, it started a gradual drop shortly afterwards, he also made ludicrous claims yesterday at 11.12 regards the price being at 660 by Thursday and 700p Friday / Monday, again i could go on but its really upto each investor to do their own work and figure out who to believe. GLA genuine investors.

Morning guys, hows things ?. i am not holding any shares right now (wife has a few), off course its important to know what price to buy a share but its just as important to know when to get out, no point listening & believing in things you read on here just because its what you want to hear. Now on with my "pure speculation" bit, lets for a brief second wonder why PFC are not winning contracts, might it be they have had to employ new tactics post SFO announcement, to clarify, maybe SFO are right in their allegations and PFC have been greasing palms which they cannot now do, the SFO certainly appear to be digging their teeth into this Unaoil investigation as the link i posted yesterday shows, would not want to be holding should they announce charges brought against PFC, i do not want to see anyone lose money, but if you bury your heads in the sand (re my little Ostrich quip last night) you surely will. I honestly feel for the genuine long term investors in PFC and do believe that long term they will get their money back, lets hope not too many of them are pensioners, i could go on but wont. will i buy back in, you bet i will, but only towards the bottom price and my guess is its got someway to go yet, GLA !!
