ifonly if you buy 1500@528 and sell 1500@540 you will make 1500 x 12p less costs, offcourse its well likely to go higher than 540, but thats upto you.
Now for the fun part,
1: Its quite obvious from the trading update there is no new 400 million contract as was being touted yesterday & Sunday,
2: With SFO hanging over their heads and the lack of big contract wins Petrofac will / are struggling, little confidence out there for PFC.
3:That said at this price i would agree its a good buy even in the shorter term

beware. I would agree that 700 by end of this year is "doable" assuming PFC win a reasonable sized contract or two and oil stays around the 75$ or higher price.

ifonly, not getting at you, (your one of the few that are civil on here), i read the "fool" story also. Many seem to ignore the fact that for a 2 year period prior to the SFO announcement PFC bounced between high 800s and down to as low as 609p, i would guess the mean price in those 2 years was around 730 / 750 ish, if memory serves they were around 750 when SFO story broke.
