Testing of 1004 started 22nd July, RNS was released on the 13th August, almost 4 weeks to test probably due to the cement issues and having to isolate the top 8m section, not all wells will take this amount of time to test, given the test rig was not needed for the later stages of testing 1004 it may have already been onsite CSo-2001 for over a week, i believe FM said it would only take a few days for the test rig to reach CSo-2001, an early RNS may just surprise everyone.
I also find it hard to understand the hit the SP has taken on 1004 well test results, agreed it was not the result we wanted but it was by no means a bad result, gas is there, just need remedial work & fracking and the fracking was expected, its money in the bank for later this year, its not as if 1004 is being abandoned.

High 14s or better by the end of the month, forget all the negativity on this board.

egg, i was not suggesting test results this coming week merely the fact we may get some sort of an update, either way i do feel we may see the SP trend reverse and start to head in the right direction again, albeit slowly until there is good news. I do not agree with those that are saying this will drift lower until next test results (assuming good results)..

Good to see we held our price today, now for Monday, with luck it will start to rise, never know there may be some news Monday.

Fact, ELM 1004 results were not great but by no means terrible, we have gas that will be commercial once fracked and lets face it 1004 was never going to be a game changer.
This drop is way overdone, those PIs selling out are making the age old mistake of selling at a loss rather than hold for a profit, what we need on this board are the world class rampers that currently populate the MATD board.

My understanding is fracking is not an expensive process and can be carried out reasonably cheaply in a short period of time (days) once the equipment is onsite, my question re ELM-1004 would be as follows, can the lower water bearing area be brought back into play by a work over or other means and i am fairly sure it can, if so we are looking at more than the 8m pay which just relates to the top section of the well which they managed to isolate (seal) above the faulty cement, that said i am no drilling engineer.

Rather than flooding ECHO with e mails it would be better to come up with half a dozen questions that shareholders would like answers on, will just pixx them off if everyone starts mailing. One mail from a group of investors (ie LSE posters) might just get answers.

I said yesterday i have greatest confidence in this company and nothing has changed apart from another cement job required for this well, this over reaction will be corrected, great buying opportunity to get in on the cheap.

Granted not the news we had hoped for but not dire either, the well still has potential, it just needs more work to release its potential.

Long time since i have felt such confidence in a share, so much news to come in the next few months, this can only go one way.
