Plus we have EMS 1001 Springhill, all talk so far has revolved around the tobifera but Springhill will also add value, certainly seems strange the SP is where it is.

MrM, Do we not also have gas wells that have been capped ready for a pipeline ?

Degsy & somm will be disappointed if they think there will be news after the first 15m section is fracked, Question for these two, how can they bring oil to the surface while they frac the 15 m above ??

I shall put it another way, i am not expecting any news from EMS 1001 for 4 weeks or so,

I am saying 4 weeks for EMS 1001, ie frac plus additional work

Do not expect news in that time frame, it will not happen, both 15m sections must be fracked followed by remedial works before any news, at soonest 4 weeks from today.

Anyone know why this is rising

During December Q&A Julian Bessa (VP of Exploration) said the following @ 1.03pm.
"The local authorities in Santa Cruz have very strict requirements as to what can be said before a well is tested".

As for EMS we should not forget that we have the upper Springhill formation gas as well as the "transformational" deeper tobifera formation, at present the fracking & all ops are targeting only the tobifera oil section. Just to remind everyone the June 21st EMS 1001 RNS stated the following for the Springhill section:

"In the shallower Springhill target, the well encountered over 20m of hydrocarbon shows. The shows in the Springhill target were associated with elevated gas with peaks of over 137,000 ppm, as measured against referenced background gas levels of less than 7,000 ppm outside of the zone and the Company is currently evaluating the effective net pay across the Springhill section encountered".

MrM, i agree 100%, he did not leave that job to work for what is essentially a two bit company.

Can i ask why some think Echo will be sold, several posters have said that yet there has been nothing from Echo to suggest this, makes little difference to me as long as the SP rises and i make a profit, just want to know / understand why posters think Echo will be sold

Should not be long before Shell / Repsol update in Bolivia, a good result there will help.

As you say any scenario including sitting on one's hands has inherent risk!!, but so does selling out in the hope of buying back in at a lower price, if only we had a crystal ball.

Cervelo was at the Edinburgh event and apparently Fi said that when these 2 x 15m sections were perforated nothing flowed so this was a good indication that whatever liquid was there was thicker than water, as far as i am aware its never been stated which sections these 2 x 15 m are in but i would suspect they fall within the 120 m naturally fractured zone, lets not forget fracking travel's outwards in all directions from the fracked area, lateral & up/downward, all IMO (the last bit).
